Glad to see you got this, unfortunately we didn't qualify due to opening in November 2019, and not having enough total payroll to be successful in the application process.

    Quoted from smokedog:

    That's too bad.
I finally got access to a .gov line of credit that was offered for small businesses (40K). 0% interest for 2 years, and 10 K forgiven if paid back in full by Dec 31 2022. Also waiting on a grant from the province (about 3K) for operating costs while closed due to public health order. Commercial landlords appear to be getting a break, which will spill down to the renters (part of the agreement they sign), so that will help with my lease as well. Federal .gov will be paying 75% labour costs when I reopen.
We won't be part of the first wave of re-opening. When we do re-open, it will be at half capacity for sure. We will be reducing the amount of pins in the cafe to provide more space, then slowly reintroduce pins as time goes on. Also building a deck out behind the business for more social distancing space.
    Anxious times!

If you are concerned about air quality, this is a great option. We use it in our arcade and they work great. I think people appreciate it that we are making an extra effort to ensure the air is as clean as we can make it. Is it a full proof way of killing COVID no, but it does give some piece of mind that we are trying to do everything we can to make a safe environment.

Nice to see some places in the US are opening back up, we have been closed since middle of December and looks to be best case April before we can open with restrictions again.

I was told Step 4 by AlbertaBiz for Arkadium, however, I am hoping that we will be able to open for Step 3, best case will be in just over three weeks depending on hospitalizations.

    Quoted from pingod:

It's good to hear a lot of places are opening again.
    We are still shutdown here.
No end in sight yet either.
We are still in phase 1, I don't think we will open until phase 3.
Lucky if that will be by summer.

Well we just got word today that we may be able to reopen our arcade after 6 long months at one third capacity. It is tentatively scheduled to reopen on June 10 but it depends on there being a 60% vaccinated rate and hospitalizations to be under 500 in the province. At least it is a step in the right direction and look forward to turning the lights back on soon.

I believe bowling alley would fall under entertainment so they will be Stage 2 but you are right on the casino side, I am surprised how vague they were for casinos figured they would want to open them up as fast as they could.

    Quoted from pingod:

Here's to hoping we can stay open too.
Not even sure if we are in that group to open up.
The bowling alley, and Casino might fall under a different tier.
