I got an email from Betson about ‘BioCode 100’. It seems to be a product similar to what pookycade had posted earlier in the thread. Though from what I could tell from the SD product site is that it’s EPA registered, but they don’t list the certification number. BioCide does, for whatever that might be worth.

We sell Liquid Death for $2 a can, tax included. Not a profit center, but I’m happy to murder thirst in an environmentally responsible way at a reasonable customer price. We do have to buy it by the pallet to enjoy at least *some* profit. Distribution is increasing, and one of my local distributors thinks they may be able to shave 12-20 cents off my per can cost.

We now offer both Still and Sparkly Death. I’m seeing sales of 2-1, Still over Sparkly.

We do sell beer, so thirst murdering is key.

Plus, a 5 year old rocking a can of Death is quite the sight. Kids party yesterday - after one kid had it in hand they all had to have it.

I believe the environmental impact between aluminum and glass leans toward aluminum as the [slightly] more efficient option.

However our startup model required us to shy away from glassware, a water refill station was considered. I harbored fears of cross contamination with a refill station, either from splash back or from the lip of a cup contacting a cross-touch surface. Perhaps unfounded, and perhaps cross contamination can be eliminated by devices such as FloWater and the like.

Until we are able to invest in glassware service, I’m fine slanging Death.
