Why not just turn every 2nd or 3rd game off and just alternate games off/on every other hour or day?

I do like the separate banks on odd and even that way customer can see what games available and decide if they want to play that day or not if there is a specific game they are after. It would suck to have to remove games from the area and swap them out physically. The only issue i think we will have is the pathways between the games where we may be 8' across but if you have someone on either side playing and walking in between them will not follow social distance code. Im not sure how this will work, if that is the case then we would need like 16-18' pathways in between games which would really eat up space and change the layout of any place and lessen the games. or maybe because it a temporary walk way and people are faced the other way it might be different.....i dunno.

it is REALLY scary to spend that much money while little is coming in.

I hear what your saying especially when your in a tourism city and i think it will be slow in vegas for a bit at least on the international side. Im not sure what would have been worse ......going through all this during the building process or if it happened after you moved in.

Great to hear you are open though....Looking like still have a another month or 2 to wait out here but we are having a meeting tomorrow to figure out future plans on how to reopen and reposition games etc etc. but it great to have this thread going for ideas from everyone else.

Out here in Edmonton they categorized gyms/recreation center with casino's. We got the ok to open June 12 but we are officially opening up arcade today ....so we see how that goes.

    That sucks LTG
We are going on our 4th week now and it has been slow as far as general public coming in....only thing keeping place busy is league nights and some pinhead groups getting together.

I agree with LTG ...i think as operators we should be the first to get the games as this will help with our businesses but also promote the manufactures game. It's getting a bulk of people to experience game first hand whether they have on order or want a play first buy second experience. I do believe we got the first TMNT Pro out here but with everyone getting thier LE's first that lessoned the wow factor of coming out to play as they have already tried it out at a friends place. Same with Gnr was great they had some to ship right away but i think operators should of had first crack to buy those. Mind you they were LE's which usually isn't the model of choice for location but still would have been nice. I don't think home use buyers would be upset with us getting games first either as it gives them a chance to still play an support our arcades.

I'm sure I got my TMNT LE

Yes you did along with others. But I would be nice if the offered a few pros first or choice in models just for locations LE usually isn’t the choice for location although I do like having LE in location but just at a price point business wise the pro is nicer option especially when you plan on buying a bunch of new releases.
Ya it’s been very slow for us too. Wouldn’t be surprised if we ordered to close in another week or 2 the way things are going. Fingers crossed though.

So I learned something new today and wanted to share.

Very interesting, Quite a big difference in speaking loudly. I try to keep the volumes to match the EM's that way its consistent through out. Regardless of background noise i find just general discussion through mask wearing have people speaking louder to be heard.
    Thanks for the info.

    Quoted from pinmeds:

    I've been closed since March

Wow that's a long time and with new restrictions this could be quite a bit longer for you. Good to see you have done something different with the space.
Here in Alberta we have been reopened since June but really i see it as any day now for us over here too and new restrictions. Every time Hinshaw(provincial Dr.) speaks i get nervous what she has to say.
