I've got to follow this thread.

Do reproduction Spin Out ramps exist yet?

#30 9 years ago

That's quite convenient!

Nice looking playfield. I really like the rubber size printed on the playfield. Probably the second coolest thing I've seen on a playfield after this from Cirqus Voltaire.

"Thanks for cleaning under the plastic!" is on Cirqus Voltaire, not Taxi.

Do you have months worth of sanding ahead of you, or just weeks?

Yeah, time for an update!

I've never seen ramp flaps on the sides. I agree with you that inside the ramp seems to make more sense. If it was outside, why bother?

I was excited to see an update from Skypilot. Boy, was I wrong!

I really don't mind the cold or the snow. I sort of like it, in fact.

But when it interferes with pinball, that's when I've had enough. I can't wait to get out there and use my Escalera for the first time!

I, too, have often wondered what people think is the crappiest acceptable stapler for both cabinet and playfield ground braids.

I declare the question to be... not stupid!

Edit: heh. Just realized that there are decent air operated staple guns on Amazon for $35. I was expecting a much higher price tag.

Quoted from KrustyBurger:

I am the new, proud owner of your Taxi restore

I'm jealous.

I saw a little bit of both the before and after in person, and I've seen and played some of Keith's other restores.

His work is pretty ridiculous. (Ridiculously good.)
