Hello,
what type of respirator cartridges have you guys used? I have OVP95 rated ones from Home Depot and could definitely smell the clear. Wondering if I have the wrong cartridges or if the seal wasn't tight enough with my face.
This is OV/P95 rating as well. So that would answer my question about the smell issue being an air-tight seal vs the wrong kind of cartridges.
I go real slow and thick, do one full playfield and I'd say that leaves me a little under a quarter of the can left.
So I'd say you could do 3 good coats of your mini playfield then have enough for a medium-thin coat of the playfield.
Completed a resto with this stuff. Thread is here: https://pinside.com/pinball/forum/topic/bobby-orrs-power-play-from-scrapper-to-power-player

Quoted from Chalkey:Great pics! What color did you use for the saucer wood tone?
I forget which colors I used in the mix. If you go look at the first page of the restore thread I discuss the process but I don't say the exact colors. It was with Createx paints, and IIRC I had a lot of yellow in there, with some earth-kinda base and maybe just a touch of brown. I have some color matching book which I used, but there was a lot of trial and error and mix adjusting.

Actually I just remembered that somebody had asked me that same question a while back when my memory was clearer. and I still have that in my Inbox... What I told them is that I used a Sand base, used white to make it lighter, then some yellow. They were transparent colors so on the wood that was looking good I didn't shoot a lot, and where I "rebuilt" with wood epoxy I shot a solid white base before shooting the wood color.
The one to the right is the actual one I used, the one to the left was a first try. I used this book to give me pointers.
