Sorry if I missed the answer to this question but how does spraymax react to touch-ups done with acrylic paints? I am used to using water based varathane which works well and doesn't cause any bleeding or runs, how does the spraymax work with touch-ups?

I have had problems with bubbles using the dropper so now I just spray a little in a cup and bend the rim to a point and pour a little on, I haven’t had problems with bubbles doing it this way.

I'm using a 3M mask (6001) with p95 cartridges, does this cartridge protect me from 2K if I change it every time or should I be shopping around for a better one? Any recommendations on a mask or is a mechanical airflow system for the best protection? Looking for specific recommendations from the people in the know.

Spoke to 3M twice about 2K specifically, they recommend a full face mask (ff400) with peel away disposable films over the lens, problem is eyeglasses. You can get a spectacle kit (ff-400-20) with flip down frames that you can get a prescription from your eye doctor. For now I'm going with a half mask 6000 series mask, 6001 cartridges and P95 filters and change them every time as per their recommendation. I'm going to try these eye protectors, you get 30 uses for $13, I'll see how that goes. Good ventilation and keep the skin covered and rubber gloves should also help. Hope semicolon approves

Quoted from semicolin:

If they don't find you handsome, they should at least find you handy

heh, any opinion on what 3M said? They say the arms of the eyeglasses are the problem with full face masks, they break the air seal. Do you think their recommendations for filters and cartridges are acceptable?

I find the spraymax 2k to be too soft, anyone know of a harder version that still comes in a can?

Quoted from dudah:

I’m looking to clear a cabinet. I know little about clearing and this product has always intrigued me. Could I spray it with the cabinet still vertical or would I have to lay each side flat to cover?

I wouldn’t use SPRAYMAX on a cabinet. I use water base polyurethane .

Anyone have success spraying spraymax as a last finish coat over previous coats of varathane polyurethane?
