Yes, a whole kit, which is made up of 1 SMD 5050 bulbs will give you all the instructions, and colors, as well as location. The 2 Better/Best kits are found at Cointaker and PinballBulbs, IMO.
At Comet, we offer a universal kit. All of us, including Nifty, Marcos, Flipper Fidelity, and more offer
choices of singles as well, to build your own.
In this bulb, your instructions will include telling you to put a Red bulb Where Red, Green with Green, etc.... Orange and Yellow are best with Warm White in this bulb brightness.
It isnt hard to do...with or without a kit, because you will eventually need to lift your playfield and locate where you put the bulb. You can do so after you have a kit in hand, or get familiar with your game before, and order what you need.
There will be differences in cost, that is for you to decide, but to do your whole game with single LEDs, and an average of 150 Bulbs, you would start at about $49. Surface Mounted Diodes, depending on Vendor and type, should range from $100-$200.
The variety of choice is in brightness, and color in either the white inserts....you can leave them white or make a white insert any color...purple, cyan, ice blue, etc. And whether you want any color in your GI. Stay with frosted for this title...its your best bet.
All companies, all vendors will do an outstanding job for your purchase....you really cant go wrong.
The decision, before this thread degrades into another, "whos best" thread, is really up to you
in what you like from their offerings both in terms of price and product.
I know you will be thrilled with the transformation, whichever way you go.
Best of Luck!
