I was swapping these out, and just noticed a big cut out on the new CPR plastics. I sent them an email asking about it, anyone have any idea why they might of cut them that way. I'm only concerned about it for ball traps, because now there is a big gap.

I installed a CPR kit and didn't even notice this.... Guess it's not a big deal

It probably isn't, but I stick all my stuff on location so I try to stay vigilant to possible ball traps. A stuck ball for me, means a broken game.
I'll figure out a work around if it becomes a thing. Think I'll just stick the old one on bottom.

If it helps at all, I haven't had a ball trapped there since I installed the CPR kit six+ months ago.

i have done 2 shadow kits before and no issues ever with ball traps

No ball traps for me and I’m running the CPR plastics. Once in a while a ball will get hung up down there but the ball check always clears it. The thing that bothered me about the CPR plastics is the nice original orange color was replace with turd brown. Not a big deal if you’re replacing everything.

Appreciate it. These 90's games are notorious for ball traps, wanted to make sure I wasn't adding anymore to them. One thing I've learned is that if it's possible for the ball to get stuck somewhere, they will find it.

yeah I've noticed there are some pretty wide color variations.

I think that was a Williams change during production. My game has the wider gap (1/95 build). Probably had something to do with the wireform ramp and the cross-member at that location.
