Since Covid I’ve built lots of props (yes including a life-size R2 my wife thinks I'm crazy & I can't argue with her...) Taught myself a decent amount of 3D printing. This mod is solid it takes my printer at high settings .4 nozzle w/ 8 walls & 60% infill so these aren't going to crack or chip or at least they shouldn't. I have done several fits.
Now back to painting initially I thought I'd give Alclad a go but before I try that I'm going to look into a nice candy gold w/ a black glossy primer/undercoat mask & paint faces in the gold w/ a nice black wash to finish it off I'll use my glossy lacquer to protect & provide a little shine. Towards the end of the weekend I'll share more images of the mod. If anyone wants a set unpainted in the meantime please DM me & I'll be happy to mail them out in the morning. Thanks for all the positive comments much appreciated
The Shadow is a beautiful game & this mod really adds to the overall design-system I feel I can come close to the Phurba diverter(s) tone/color. Stay–Tuned!!
