On my Shadow, the left metal ramp is broken where the sides are attached to the bottom by tabs. After talking to people who I think are knowledgeable, I used JB KwikWeld to reattach them and let it set for a week before reinstalling and playing. After just a few ball hits, I could tell they were separated again. I only used it on the original tabs, maybe should have used it along the entire length of the sides? Has anyone had experience with this product or other methods short of using a welder, which I do not have? It is a pain to disassemble again and I just wish to do it once. Thanks in advance for any thoughts.

You'll have to weld them. If stainless steel then TIG weld them.

use a local welder. i found somebody who did a spot weld on a tz ramp for $20.

Welding shouldn't be hard or expensive.

I tried jb weld along entire edge...looked terrible and didnt last...the replacement ramp i got is continuous, instead of just a few tabs (thanks tracelifter)...i will be installing the new ramp this weekend

I had the same issue with mine. I had multiple broken welds some of which had been poorly repaired before I got the game. I just wound up biting the bullet and purchasing replacements from mantis. His are stainless steel with minimal welds. Rock Solid! http://www.mantisamusements.com/shadow.htm

I was going to restore that game and like all the games I do the first stop is Kerry for new weldments.
If he doesn't make one I send him the old one as a template.
All his stuff is top notch and a nice upgrade to these games.
Put both of them on or the right one will look like crap.

Another thumbs up for Kerry at Mantis. Received my ramps earlier this week and they are top quality.

Had this happen, going to replace with the new ramp as well.
