This is easily a top 5 machine in my opinion! Super fast and every mode is awesome! Been to final battle a few times and have yet to finish it. Always a shot away. I will never sell this pin. I was going to send my wires into Mike but after seeing those ramps and diverters all brassed out! That looks great.

Quoted from Pinmeister:

I used the Pinbits stainless steel ramp flaps with brass rivets. You will need to sand some of the brass off the rods of the diverters or they will not fit. Use a fine metal sand paper to do this. Don't forget black nickel on the gun and to chrome the trigger.

Thanks for the info. Def going to do this. Already talking to mike!

Quoted from action76:

I've got a question for all TS owners out there. On The Shadow that was in the game room at my college, the ball would almost always land in the Khan multiball/mode start hole after shooting the left loop and holding the upper right flipper. Mine NEVER does that. What does yours do? Is it supposed to land in that hole and what adjustments could I make to fix that if it is?

Mine does it. All you have to do is adjust the top flipper. Move it forward slightly and test it out a few times. That's how you will get it. I like it that way! It still requires the skill in hitting that left lane quickly.

Quoted from jayhawkai:

Does anybody else avoid the ramps most of the game? I usually go for modes, Shadow loops, Shadow MB and occasionally the upper playfield. Vengeance seems to be a risky strategy if you miss the left ramp and hit those death targets.

I use to do that too until I realized that you get 100 million for Vengeance and another 100 for super. Its awesome when you get good at those shots.

P.s I was raised in Lawrence! Jayhawks!

Quoted from Trident:

Hello my name is Garry and im a proud new owner of a Shadow.

Quoted from wcbrandes:

i will check coil but I do know they are the same below. my Game is just above 6.5. The game has absolutely no wear on sanctum and is mint so there has to be a reason will look into it, thanks for comments

They already have very strong coils in them. Both lower coils should be 11629 coils. Maybe someone put in the wrong ones at some point.

mines doing the same

If you are having issues with the single battlefield drop target def check out your fliptronics board (top left board). Mine was not working right and saying switch 55/coil error. I replaced the Q5 tip 102 transistor on the flip board and its all good! Make sure to check fuse 904 also.

I got my game put back together this weekend, but still need to make a few adjustments. Unfortunately I don't have the tools to give the metal guides a proper treatment, and everything was done by hand. Here's my updated shop log.

I'm still rather new to pinball, and never gotten this deep into a game. I had a blast cleaning this up!
I'm trying to find the best place for a spotlight on the battlefield & trying to avoid the light pointing towards the player. For those of you with spotlights do you have any suggestions?

I built a small board and mounted 2 white leds on it. Works great and is out of the way.

I built a small led board that illuminates the battlefield. Works awesome and doesn't get in the way.

Vintage, doesn't the ball hit those lamps?

No. I have had them on for about a year.
