I picked up a shadow last week and have been shopping for parts.

Are the cab decals available? I can’t find them anywhere.

Does anyone have a spare Aurich translite/speaker panel?

Quoted from jonesjb:

Does Retro Refurbs sell decals?

I've only seen the decals for the back box available.

PM @Aurich, maybe if he gets enough requests he will print more. I would love a set too.

I installed the Bent Plastic reflection blocker on my shadow this weekend and it had a huge impact on seeing the back part of the playfield.
With all the talk of how dark this game is, especially at the battlefield, I’m surprised no one else has mentioned them.

What is the purpose of the smaller coil on the battlefield drop target assembly? It looks like it knocks the target down without needing the ball to hit it. What circumstance would make that happen?

The only circumstance I can think of is if the ball gets stuck behind the target, the ball search will free it.

Quoted from hawk370:

Hey guys, I bought my shadow a little over a year ago as a project and after a lot of hard work repairing the sanctum and clearing both playfields I'm finally beginning to assemble the playfield. Now I am to the point that I need to start installing bulbs, I want to go with Coin taker premium non-ghosting. but I would like to see what the kit they offer looks like. so does anyone have photos of the kit that they offer installed on their game?

You will probably want the led ocd board so don’t get non ghosting.

I felt lazy and bought a cointaker kit for another pin and I hated it - bad use of color. We are lucky that someone has already made a list of all the color and type of bulbs needed if you do a search. I replaced the GI bulbs on mine with comet warm 2 smd and it made a huge difference in visibility. I’ll get around to the insterts eventually.

I bought one too. Let us know if you find any issues with alignment/fit and finish.

Quoted from Twister:

I will make a drawing of a new version. I will make it from aluminium or stainless steel. Maybe black chrome or gold plated. Also a modified design with integrated illumination for the battlefield.
I think maybe in late january i have the first prototype.

I’m interested in one too, depending on price. I don’t think I’ll need a gold plated one.

If you’re making a list, count me in too.

Twister The black chrome coating is nice but if it’s giving you difficulties, I would buy one without it. I could get it powder coated or chromed locally.

Quoted from jonesjb:

So I had this idea for a mod I wanted to make, but have been very busy lately with a number of projects. I recently saw tmezel’s work on mods for the new Jurassic Park which look stellar, and have no doubt a company like Mezel Mods would do a great job.
Basically the idea is for a old radio, (Shadow blue or purple) sits over the mode shot, and lights up in sync with the “Start Scene” insert... Kind of similar to the Twilight Zone slot machine, and thematically it works with the Art Deco pulp world.
Here is a mock up sketch I did, hoping someone can pick up this idea (tmezel, thoughts?). What do you guys think, would there be interest in this club?

I like it! There seems to be a shortage of mods like this for Shadow.

Quoted from Djshakes:

Anyone know if a darker decal is made? This looks so stupid. How could they get the color this wrong. I'm thinking of having some made if this is the best out there.[quoted image]

Quoted from Wmsfan-GAP:

It's also out of stock.
FWIW- Color differences on the grays can be caused by fading. But I do agree, the light one is wayyyy to light color.

Doh! I didn’t notice it was OOS
