Just placed a deposit on a nice Shadow. Pick-up on Saturday at VFW. Super stoked!!

Hey all. My left diverter finally stopped moving all the way to the left and right. Finally got around to checking it out to figure out the problem and the shaft on the diverter itself is chewed all to shit by the set screws I'm assuming, thus doesn't have anything to grip on to. Subsequently searching around Marco's, BAA etc. Can't seem to find a left diverter and knife assembly.

I know it's a long shot, but anyone have one of these hanging around that they'd be willing to sell??

Another question about the diverter and knife assembly. Once I remove those set screws, should that whole assembly slide out rather easily? Mine doesn't seem to want to move, I'm thinking it might be because of the raised metal edges on the shaft of the divertor, but don't want to force it if there is something else I need to remove.

Thanks to all the assistance here and one of my local tech buddies, I was able to sort this out. Rather than replacing the mechanism, I used my dremel to smooth it out. Re-installed. Works like a charm. For now!

Somehow the plastic sheet that goes along the side of the mini-playfield on my Shadow completely cracked in half. I'm stumped at how this happened. I've looked around for a replacement part, but no luck. Anyone know where I might be able to get a replacement?

Hey folks....I'm getting my armour and gun powder coated. But I have to remove the grips from the gun as they will melt while the coating is being baked. Any suggestions on how to remove them without ruining them??

Well that was easy enough....found a small flat head screwdriver...and a hammer, wedged it off.

Armour will be a purple, gun will be gloss black. Will post pics eventually!

Got my Shadow Powder Coated last week. Installed the new armour over the weekend. I think it came out looking pretty sweet!
