You know what The Shadow needs? Someone to sell a Sanctum decal that matched the playfield. Maybe sell a 5 pack in different gradients. Hard to believe the only option (for purchase) is about 10 shades too light.
I don't see any compelling reason to switch from LA4 to LX6. Is there any reason I should be aware of?
Quoted from KnockerPTSD:I decided to take my gun off to shine it up a bit. I expected the plastic bits to just pop off but they are on there good. I dont want to pry them incase im missing something obvious. How.do they come off? Thanks in advance. [quoted image][quoted image]
They are being held on by sweat and gunk, just pry them off. If you are really concerned, run them under warm water for a bit and let the human paste melt a little.
Quoted from Chitownpinball:Question for you guys.
When you rebuilt yout diverter mechs, did you do the coil stops? Do I just treat it like a flipper rebuild and do the sleeves, stops, springs? Anything else I should do? Going to order parts.
Stops are $12 each!?!! Wow...ok. So if they arent mushroomed I leave them alone....yeesh

I never replace coil stops unless they are way shroomed. I trust 25 year old hardware > new stuff. The other parts of the rebuild are upgrades and worth it.
