I need a Manual for The Shadow, can someone help me with where to purchase one or would someone make me a copy. I would gladly pay for it and shipping. Lost without it as a guide and reference for parts....HELP! Please.

Thanks, Brad bradtuttle497 at yahoo.com

Hello Group, Just picked up my first SHADOW and am loving it. Thinking of installing an LED kit. Which kits do you think works best in it. Or do I purchase individual LEDS, if so, does anyone have a list of bulbs and locations? Appreciate any thoughts on the subject from Pinsiders who have LED their Shadow. Thanks, Brad

Hi, Bought a Shadow and shopping it. I have 2 rings that are burnt out. What is the procedure for installing new bulbs? Thanks

Hi, Just finished shopping out my, new to me The Shadow. Filthy pig. When the ball comes out of the Battlefield and it lands on the plastics below and gets stuck there. Seems I heard that this is common. Anyone come up with a fix for the problem.

Any setup tips people would like to share to get this pin flowing correctly. I notice when it comes out of the right loop to the right flipper it is hitting the top edge of the right pop bumper, is that normal? Rebuilt the flippers, all drop targets, new ramps with rebuilt divertors, new plastics as needed. Here are a few pictures after shop job.

Quoted from jawjaw:

I have the same problem. I dug into it not long ago thinking I could flip that plastic or something. Turns out the plastic only can go on one way. Mine is curved a bit. Not sure if it is warped or supposed to be like that.

Going to have to give this problem some attention. Just can't keep pulling the glass or tilting. Gotta be a solution.

The LED's really helped out the dark play, but the side mirrors really nailed it. Don't need the Pin Stadiums now. Want to keep the retro look. Dam, this game is fast.

Shadow close to being finished. Rebuilt just about everything. Chromed it out and added Gold wireforms. New translite, Mantis ramps(awesome) led’s and play field plastics. Need to do something with the Gun, any thoughts? Here are a couple pics....

Thanks for the comments. Lot of hard work, all the mechanisms where shot, lot of snap in those diverters now. Shadow is so different from other pins, giving it a uniqueness. I've been playing pinball since the 50's and consider it a top 5 pin in my opinion. Going beyond themes, and judging on gameplay. Of course I also think Demolition Man is a top 15 pin based on gameplay again. Ratings seem to be based more on theme's. I like the fun factor and shots better than theme. Both pins also have great callouts and light shows.

Think I will chrome the Shadow Gun and I am going to do the Demolition Man Handles in Gloss Black. Have to coat them with something as my wife has a nickel allergy and here hands breakout. Hence, I have to buy expensive jewelry for her or she turns green. Lucky woman!!!

I bet a shiny new dime that chrome would look good but can't recall seeing one. Having things chromed ain't cheap..at least where I live

Here is mine with chrome and brass wireforms, I like it.

http://www.pinballplating.com/available-parts
Talk to Chris Royalty, great guy
He has new plated parts and quick exchange parts, send your gun in and he ships one he has all ready plated. For powder coating, I use https://pinside.com/pinball/forum/topic/powder-coating-services-offered Robert Stone, another good guy, does beautiful work also in a myriad of colors. Both men are very trust worthy. Good Luck......

Quoted from lpeters82:

For The Shadow I like the chrome quite a lot. Because of that, it's not something I'd invest in for this title, but if someone were to gift me any option I wanted, I'd probably do an antique brass.

Chrome for my tastes..

If you can find at least 10 buyers, I'll ask him to make it. Shouldn't be an issue if there are enough that want it.

I will take one also.
