Hello,
I have a Shadow pinball that I did a full refurb on. When I bought it the 4 in/outlane switches would sometime all work fine and other times not work at all. They all share a wire on the switch column (green-brown) and all the other switches on that column have worked consistently. I figured since I was doing a refurb and was going to replace all the microswitches anyway I would deal with it on the other side of the project.
Cut to after the refurb where I have completely replaced the switches with new diodes and everything works just fine. No switch errors.
Cut to a year later (now) and the 4 have gone out again. I have checked all the switches/diodes themselves and the continuity is good.
The switch before the right outlane switch is the plum bob tilt which is working fine. Should I check continuity all the way from the plum bob to the right outlane?
The other thing that occurs to me is that this could be a circuit board component that has gone bad for those 4 switches but Im not sure where to start looking.
Thanks in advance for any help you may be able to provide!
