Hey folks, I figured you'd like some news on our pinball efforts and like to see our first teaser art. This is select portions from our game, grey shaded, not lit, non textured, non final. We will be showing some fully rendered images very soon of the cabinet, but why not fuel some speculation as too what we are building

Also here's some info on one of the artists working on concepting the game.

Let me introduce David Kaye. David is a freelance concept artist, 3D modeler and industrial designer hailing from New York City, though currently living in Los Angeles, California. Although he wanted to work as an artist from a young age, David actually got his start as an English literature teacher, having received a Master's Degree in Education from NYU's Steinhardt School of Education, before leaving that career behind to pursue his passion. David initially began his art career as a comic book penciller, and eventually decided to expand his horizons to learn industrial design and later concept art for the entertainment industry. After spending nearly a year overseas studying industrial design, he returned to the United States to enroll in the Red Engine School of Design in Los Angeles and has remained in California since.

Samples of his work can be seen here:

David has several years experience raising and training cats, and participated in feline rescues in several different countries around the globe. He is the proud pawrent of an adorable baby kitten named Sofi, whom he spends much of his down time with. When they aren't plotting to take over the world (or while she's taking a cat-nap), David enjoys the occasional game of Killzone 2, which he plays rather competitively, or listening to '80s hair metal while painting. He is a life-long fan of The Transformers (Generation One forever), having done artwork commemorating the 30th Anniversary of the franchise.

He also has the power to turn invisible, but can only use it when no one is watching.

For those of you near the SoCal area on the weekend of October 18th, be sure to pay The Rebel Unit a visit between 7pm and 10pm Pacific Standard time to take a tour of our shop, play with our pinball development center and see full cabinet images of our latest pinball machine project!
