Quoted from LOTR_breath:True, but saying you could rack up whatever score you wanted is an overstatement. The ramp is not worth much until you get 99 of them. Then they are worth 100,000. So you have to hit a gazillion of them for that strategy to work. Correction: 250k per shot after 99 ramps.
At Pinburgh three years ago they used ES, but I noticed they put a little shim under the flipper rubber in the sweet spot of the ramp shot which caused the ball to jump a teeny bit. It pretty much nulled the ramp strategy.
