A G&R cover band?! Damn, this is shaping up to be fun weekend. I definitely made the wrong decision doing a single day trip to the show.

I enjoyed my day trip yesterday. Between the vendor hall and the Freeplay room, there was a great mix of games with very reasonable wait times. This year's art was awesome, I just had to pick up a t-shirt. The screen printing seems fairly light duty, any idea how these shirts will hold up over time?

    Great job pintastic team!

    Quoted from Bospins:

I had the same experience with legends of Valhalla. That’s a game I am very interested in but it was set up super flat with all extra balls turned on. I stood in line for a half hour and gave up. Bummer as I doubt I’ll see one again anytime soon. Oh well. Looked very fun and well done though, although it seemed the ball was getting hung up and required shaking of the machine…probably due to the flat pitch.

I guess I was lucky on Friday because my longest wait was 10min for Valhalla. I played a couple times, it was pretty fun. If you want to talk about long waits, how about EHOH set to 5 ball play with EB's. Yikes!

Who did the art of the '21 skeleton colonial patriot shirt? I get compliments everytime I wear that T.

Is the hotel really out of Saturday rooms already?

    #609 2 years ago

This will be my first year bringing a game. What exactly do the game bringing points get you? And do I still need to purchase a pass? Thanks!

    Quoted from Nhpolarbear:

Unless I’m missing something Saturday night is blacked out on their website. Should I call instead? Friday is still available.

You have to call. I did today (3/25) and they still had Saturday availability.

    Quoted from dmarston:

Navigate as follows, from the top menus:
Top 100 --> Various --> Owned or Wished --> Most Wished
I take a snapshot on January 1 each year, but the list is pretty stable and is a good estimate of the so-called "A-list" games.

I've never clicked around that area of pinside. Based on that list, maybe I'll bring my Getaway instead of an early solid state.

There were several posts discussing the placement of the QR code/FS/Info cards (labels?), so I'm curious where are you planning on putting them?

Maybe apron / score card area? Also, make the text nice and bold!

    Quoted from dmarston:

We did discuss the lockdown bar, apron area (above and below the glass), and doubling up with a card in the traditional place. For those who carry around a smart phone and want to use it, the game number is all they need to get the rest of the info about the game. Pulling up the online info also gives you a route to reach the seller, if the game is for sale.

What if we made the QR code bigger than it is? For the text, do you just need the game number bigger, so you can pull up the online info (as mentioned above)? For those who are trying to read info directly off the card, what info is most important?
By the way, game registration is open!
    .................David Marston

I don't think the average person knew what the cards were for last year. Maybe if they are closer to the player, that would do the trick.

How do you remove a game from "myflipR"? I don't see any obvious way in the "my games" screen.

Are there dollys available for use when unloading/setting up games, or is it byo-dolly?

And no hot water or AC…absolutely brutal

And no fridge in the room!

I had to checkout of the hotel in a bit of a rush this AM (originally planned to be there through Sunday) and left something behind in my room . Is there anyone from seacoast NH/ME who is up for grabbing it @ the front desk? When you get back to NH/ME I can meet whenever/wherever is convenient for you. I'll throw you an ipa 4-pack for your help. Thanks!

    All set! Thanks all

The show was great. It was my first time bringing a game and the tech staff was awesome. They were more than eager to help out troubleshooting, and got my game back up and running when it went down. It was a fun weekend and I look forward to bringing games in the future. Thanks to the pintastic team!

Oh. Okay. Sorry. 300mph. Final offer. Take it or leave it.

Are we talking African or European swallow?
