This is exciting news. I can’t wait. Selfishly I’m happy I don’t have to drive to Boston. This location makes it a reasonable travel from CT. Improving the hotel is just icing on the cake. Great little town. Great food. Always a great pinball show! Thank you Pintastic crew!

Looks like Sonic Spinball is planning to attend the show. I'm very excited to try this homebrew.

I was able to get in at Holiday Inn Express for Friday night only. SHH was sold out.

    Quoted from jfh:

Confirmed that the CCr LE is a prototype.

Likely the same game they had there in November.

Thank you Pintastic team! Had another great show. We had a great time as usual. Can’t wait till next year. Hopefully the economy hasn’t collapsed by then and we can still have it!

My wife and I stayed at the hotel a number of shows ago but she is convinced she got athletes foot from there so she won't allow us to stay there. We have been using the Holiday Inn down the street. More money but happier wife. I was in the Navy for 10 years so I can sleep anywhere. I used to sleep next to torpedoes so yeah I can survive the Host. We take the opportunity to eat at our favorite Sturbridge Seafood once and then check out new places while there.
Free play was lean but I can't complain, I didn't bring a game. Disappointed I couldn't stock up on my normal supplies as not many vendors were there. But I understand times are tough with inflation right now, we are lucky to get a show at all. Overall very positive feedback. We had a great time and played a ton of pinball. I haven't missed a show yet and don't plan on it. If Gabe and company keep putting these on I'll keep showing up. I do plan to expand out and check out another show as well next year.

    Quoted from Langless28:

Does the folks who run the monster/ horror poster booth between free play and vendor hall have a website?
Upset I just didn’t suck it up and buy the poster I wanted on Saturday.

I bought a Halloween one for my game room to go with the machine. I have the business card at home I'll post it after work. I'm making a custom picture frame out of the pallet wood that came with the game. Because I am a nerd.

My wife thought that the show would benefit greatly from food trucks. I don’t know if the hotel allows that or not but I thought that was a pretty good idea. In New London, CT they have food trucks on the state pier every weekend and they do very well.

I think the venue is fine personally but my wife won’t stay at the hotel. We just go down the street. We used to get concessions food but don’t do that anymore. We just hit McD’s or whatever. We love Pintastic and will always attend no matter what. Just gotta make it work. Love the work you guys do. We really appreciate it.

Mystic Marriott in CT? It’s where we have our company Christmas party every year (before Covid ruined that)

    Quoted from beelzeboob:

Ahh...your post made me sad. I didn't get up there this summer and now knowing I'll probably never see that smelly place again, I'm getting a little verklempt. Say what you want about the quality of the hotel--and you're all right about that--but I have many great memories there that Gabe and Company gave me over the years. Still one of my favorite shows to attend, and I hope it retains the same awesome family-friendly vibe when it moves to its new location.

+1 to this comment. I have been going since the beginning and we look forward to it every year. Definitely will miss the current form even though we don't stay at the hotel anymore. We will follow this show where ever it ends up.
