Had a great time at allentown this weekend. Sold my transporter and time machine hoping to put the proceeds toward a new pin but didn't find anything for the right price that I had to have. I did end up buying a T2 project machine but u need another project like I need a hole in the head. The plan was to buy a turn key pin. Something that I could plug and play. That's ok though I've never had a T2 before. Picked up the profanity Rom. Looking for some cool mods and chrome parts. Let me know if you have any. I got fair prices for what I sold I think, no complaints. Damn time machine burnt up a flipper coil on the first day. No problem right. I'm at a pin show, I had all my tools so no problem. Not! I looked and looked and asked and asked, not one data east flipper coil on the whole compound, not one. I talked to everyone there, talked to guys in the parking lot, talked to vendors and patrons. Nothing! Never did find a coil. Couldn't believe it. Sold the pin anyways. Played AC/DC and preditor. Loved ac/dc, preditor is going to.be a great pin when its done. Love the passion these guys have. I found parts were more at the show than online so I didnt buy many parts. It's mostly em.and woodrail stuff for sale in the flea market area. Wish they had more ss stuff. I would love to go to a show that was all ss and dmd stuff. That would rock. The coin taker fun house was amazing. No woz, that was dissapointing. Met some cool pinsiders. The hulk was very nice. I enjoy seeing things I've followed here on pinside. The food across the parking lot at the farmers market was excellent. No beer being served, I liked that. No problem with drinking just don't think that's the place for it. I sold some excess pinball junk I've accumulated and 2 pins so I'm very happy with that. Looked like lots of fair prices and most everything ss that was worth a damn sold. Hell, even the raven sold($650). Not a lot of really great titles there but enough. The raffle pin was a Diamond Princess.WTF WAS THAT a joke? That's one of the ugliest things I've ever seen. I'm sure it was a donation. The raffle raised $950 for a sick member of the pinball community. I bought a few tickets but didn't want the pin. I would have let.them keep it. All and all the whole family had a great time and were looking foreword to the York show in October. Just wanted to ramble a bit and say thanks to everyone who contributed to the show. Thanks.
