.............. LW3, Pool Sharks, Taxi, Space Station, Cyclone, Jokerz, Johnny Mnemonic & Terminator 2 ..........

This Line-up is Headed for Pintastic New England free play. I've been putting as many extra games on them as I can to make sure they're robust. Wouldn't mind some help, so if anyone is interested, they will be available to play on THURS 6/23 5-8 pm & THURS 6/30 5-8 pm.

    PM for address.

    Pintastic was Fantastic!

I brought 8 machines and all of them held up great. Only 3 repairs.... 1 broken wire on T2 flipper coil, a loosened Flipper bat on Taxi (I just rebuilt them 2 days before show) and the right sling on Cyclone started gunning so I re-gapped the switches (rubber was probably a little too tight). I felt good about that, as the games were played non stop.

Sorry, I know Jokerz was LOUD but the volume control was touchy.

I did put a price on all of them and didn't really care if I sold them or not, but ended up selling 7 of them (I'm glad I did now because I bought Ivan's Kiss). All the buyers were cool and left the machines for the show's duration.

Thanks to the whole team! Looking forward to next year already.

    Quoted from ejacques:

Now that I've finally slept....it's time to reflect on my first show bringing games. Thanks to BrIan (the96stang) taunting me for months, I brought 8 games this year to the show. After moving 8, I have no clue how he does it and physically doesn't fall apart. I was on the back wall directly across from him.
Like Brian, I struggled with some games giving me fits....but thanks to Dave Madore and several others I was able to keep them running. (Thanks Dave for finding my phantom 4th ball on Getaway - aka a light bulb stuck in the trough!) My games were actually fairly reliable for the weekend, and the four that I sold spent most of the weekend on the Freeplay floor. (Big thanks to Rob from Australia for leaving Getaway until the end)
Foolish me went to the flea market....and now I have a garage full of project games, project boards and other parts. Prices in the flea market were great and were definitely open to discussion.
I personally found the hotel to be fine...I've stayed in way worse hotels that cost way more. My kids even had fun with the free mini golf, although I wanted to rebuild a few of their holes for them.
Big shout out to Gabe and the rest of the organizers....I can't imagine how difficult it is to run a show like this. Apologies for being that new guy that had tons of questions, but in the end it all worked out great.
And finally, as far as food goes.....one word....BT's.
    Thanks all!
    Ed

Ed--I agree that Brian is a work horse and always willing to help. A definite asset to the hobby...Just look at how many games he's brought to the area....Thanks Brian!
