took me a while, sure I knew it was familiar.
One of them is in my basement now,
though BG/head is folded down at the moment
cause I lost the key.

Knew that at a glance. I have been thinking about how much I miss that at The Sanctum. We have a Medusa there and it is a fun game.
Surprized no one has guessed this yet.
It is from the BG from one of the major USA MFRs.
The only other thing that I will say is that
the artist (as commonly known (credited) per most pinball resources)
IMHO had an assist from someone else.
Yes, I'm surprised too
A very good clue and a real tough one.
I'm sure I know it but can't remember yet.
who ever the artist was that drew those dice
did not know much about dice.
As it looks like the bottom die has two 5s on it.

Agreed, Also many people drawing dice don't realize opposite sides always add up to 7.
But as long as you're picking on the artist - Hint 1 - John Youssi
At first i started looking for WMS race horse games,
but turns out to be different type of race theme

Going back to my comment about the World Fair BG artwork,
and that Parker likely got an assist from someone,
Do most of you guys think that those gypsy belly dancers looked too good to be drawn by Parker alone?
Certainly in a different style than was typical for Parker.
Parker has done good girl art before, like on the PF for Cover Girl, but
it is easily recognizable as Parker rendered.
I see what you mean. The Worlds Fair girls use more shading on parts like muscles where he normally uses pretty defined cut lines and color changes.
I normally don't analyze as much as I have since this thread started. Such a good thing.
Got to look real hard but the little scene is under the title

I knew right away it had to be Williams
and by the unknown artist.
That's Williams 1972 HONEY by Christian Marche.
I absolutely agree with your notes on WORLD FAIR, these aren't Parker-Girls.
I still think someone should try to find a former employee from Ad-Posters in Chicago and ask her/him about the mystery artists. Some documents must still exist.
Or what about James Loflin - did anybody see the film about him in 'Pins'n' Vids 4 '
He's got lots of the original drawings so I think there must be a signature now and then?
I woke up to an Eager Beaver today!

From the backglass...
Quoted from pinwiztom:O-Din knows that annoyed moose.
Honey, is not by C.Marche, but IMHO the last pinball artwork by the mystery artist.
Here is another visual clue to the above.
I was pretty annoyed like the moose, when my pin came with the backglass shattered into pieces
That's horrible - why does this always happen to such beautiful glasses.
