Quoted from pinwiztom:Weird thing about this BG is it appears to have two credit windows?

Concorde, Emagar,
I want to know the story behind the action being portrayed on the BG.
What are those guys running towards?
Is that chick standing on the hood of the car?
Is she topless like the shadow figure up in the sky scraper (control tower)?

Yea, this is one of those that catch your interest.

I actually have just the backglass, which is stored away at the moment... Will be a bit tricky to pull it out... well spotted on the double credit window... now I'm curious... maybe one is for extra balls...? Looking behind the glass will help...
The artwork on that glass is certainly a curiosity!!
Had a look for that Concorde glass and I can't find it!!!
Pretty annoying... hopefully it will materialise one day!!
Checked the IPDB, the last image is there... so should be fairly easy...
Some place I always wanted to go, some day
I got loads of frequent flyer miles withAir France, just need to pull the trigger.

I've just realised, the backglass on the IPDB is the very same glass I have!! There is a hole in the 1st score reel (no idea why someone would want to make a hole there!!) and another one at the credit meter (to stop the credit reel turning when you start a game) and another blemish on the right edge of the glass in the middle near the palm tree! I got a bunch of Spanish glasses from a seller on MilAnuncios some years ago... I guess the guy posting the photo was the seller...
When I say 'glass', this is actually plastic... some 'cheater' made the holes with a hot needle by the look of it... probably used a cigarette lighter to heat a needle up... the edges are quite brown from heat...
Here's a close up of the hole in the credit window... just in case anyone's interested...

You beat me to the game names, but I stated the artist...
Quoted from pinballslave:2nd one is Gottlieb Pleasure Isle (also Roy Parker)...
You got it
Quoted from Staffan:You got it
You added the artist after first posting, or I missed it
You take it!
I much prefer the Paradise lady myself... strange that he'd make 2 different versions of the art for essentially the same game...

In the same second I posted I realised that I forgot the artist and added it. Then I saw your posts and I thought it looked like I stole it from you so I deleted it Next time it's yours!
Next one is more than close to Tahiti...

I wrote the above before I saw your last post... obviously...

That was the whole point of my posting both gals from the PF on these hula pins.
The Hawaiian Isle (Italian) and Pleasure Isle AAB are by Art Stenholm, not Parker;
even though the layout is similar.
Parker did do the artwork on Paradise.
IPDB has got it wrong in the art credits.
There are just perpetuating a long time error in artist credits
from way back in the day.
While Stenholm did emulate Parker early in his career
he later became more uniquely stylized as time went by.
I recognize that bronze knee
