Not too many pins from France outside of Rally.
Surprized the UK did not make many pins until this last decade.
Quoted from pinwiztom:Surprized the UK did not make many pins until this last decade
I'm pretty sure they made some in the 30s
Carnival, Playmatic, 1977
https://www.ipdb.org/machine.cgi?id=453
Quoted from pinwiztom:GTB Sittin Pretty?
That was my first thought.
Quoted from pinwiztom:My previous clue was from Playmatic RIO, but your photo is much clearer of same CAB artwork
Interesting cost cutting exercise that they used the same cab artwork for 2 different games!
Just checked IPDB, I see Rio is the 4 player version of Carnival, so it makes sense now...
Quoted from pinwiztom:GTB Sittin Pretty?[quoted image]
Sittin' Pretty is mentioned in le notes of this game...
If those tubes where illuminated they would look like...
Quoted from pinwiztom:Another Frenchy
Magic Lites
You deserve a gold star for that one too!!

For a bonus point, my guess at the feature you're referring to is nixie tubes?
This game is beautiful, tried finding one ages ago... failed!
Vive la france. Volley Ball, EMA, 1950

The Tierce, Alben, 1964
https://www.ipdb.org/machine.cgi?id=3503
Quoted from pinwiztom:The Tierce PF layout reminds me a bit of BLY Wild Wheels (or visa versa)[quoted image]
The Tierce is from 64 and Wild Wheels from 66. I wouldn't think the people at Bally looked too much at foreign games, maybe they did?
Or both these games have a common ancestor...
Robin Hood, Renov: (or should I say J.Martina...)

Thanks for the clue
Quoted from pinwiztom:It is likely a racing theme Solid State pin from Spain by Playmatic?
75% correct... Playmatic, as far as I'm aware, never did any game where the ball was elevated above the main playfield, and at the back of the photo there's an elevated area where the ball goes... so it's a company that out-lived Playmatic and entered the age of 'elevated ball play'...
After consulting the IPDB, Playmatic did one game with ramps: Skill Flight... their last game... and it's not that
Also, after checking this game on the IPDB I see there was no theme stated, so I submitted some suitable themes yesterday... Jay hasn't put them up yet... so searching on 'theme' won't help I'm afraid... but I'm sure you'll get it... not many Spanish manufacturers made it into the 90's...
Puntos con luz... it's Spanish again Lap by Lap at a first guess?
Edit: no!
Pole Position per chance...?
No...
Last Lap...?
No...
Recel Top Speed, Top Racer and Formula 1... all no...
Running out of ideas...
Quoted from pinballslave:Lap by Lap at a first guess?
Edit: no!
Pole Position per chance...?
No...
Last Lap...?
No...
Wrong wrong wrong. It's not a big deal try again.
