Classics_Master seems to have dropped the ball... is there a rule where if someone else fails to post a new image within a certain period of time it's an open floor where anyone can post a new image? If so, what is that time? If not, I propose there is one with a time of 24hrs...

Don't know if there is a rule or if this has been discussed before. I'm with you on a 24hrs time limit.
I would even think 12hrs or less would be suited.
But there are some things to take in to consideration... in this case Classics_Master posted:"Is that Gottlieb Jacks Open?" (he didn't say: That is Gottlieb Jacks Open!) and then I replied: "That is correct!"
So in this case should it be 24hrs after He posted or after my post?
Staffan why don't you post another. @classics_master, I am sure you will get another clue right soon enough and have another shot at posting a clue
As to when 24 hours does seem pretty excessive to me, but I am certainly not the rule master. wylcot is the OP but hasn't posted in the thread in a year it seems...
I am open to whatever consensus is - I have forgotten to post the next clue until reminded before, it is certainly easy to do, especially if you are on your phone or someone you can't readily respond. I myself would not feel bad if I lost my turn after not posting the next clue in say as low as two hours, unless I stated I was not able to post until the end of day, etc.
Meanwhile @staffan, can you pick up the ball and get us back on track?
