Are there any images of this pin available online? or do you have to own it to know what it is?
No offense but sometimes your clues are so hard that they are not challenging, they are impossible.
Thinking of the TAF cabinet clue for example. Even when I knew what it was I couldn't find a image online to prove it.
We are here to have fun at least I am

Yes they are available on line. Special rethemed game.

Quoted from chad:Ok , the reveal is Kabuki, Data East.
So I agree with Staffan and give him credit for his candor (and tact), but to be fair to @chad, this game is listed in IPDB with photos. He posted enough that I instantly recognized it was a Japanese theme, but gave up because I too thought this was something similar to the Addams Family clue (I still have no idea how you got that @staffan). We have had some tough clues before from all of us (myself included). It gets frustrating for me when a clue goes unanswered for a while, with no follow on clues to help guide us. I like it when the follow up clue is sometimes not even visual but similar to the first follow up clue chad gave. I would have liked it sooner, I try to post a second clue no later than 8 hours and sooner if possible if no one is getting it to keep the game moving (not always successful at that, and I think many/most of us have forgotten to post the next clue or follow up timely at least once - we do have other things going on in our lives ) I also like it when the next clue relates back to the previous one (artist, designer, theme, manufacturer, innovation, era etc.) to kinda of give us a push in the right direction.
I started to play this game to have fun as well and to improve my knowledge of all eras of pinball, pinball history and pinball art and have learned A LOT in doing so from @pinwiztom, @staffan, @poppapin, @classics_master, @gott_lieb, @atari_daze, chad and many others! This is by far my favorite thread on Pinside and I very much enjoy the friendly competition and knowledge sharing.
@chad, no one got your clue, so I think it is still your turn - lets see another clue!

Including me pretty rare game, only one built.
Lazer Lord, Stern, 1984

Lightning by Stern
Most of the artwork scheme (plastics)
seems to come out of nowhere in relation to Valhalla theme on BG

At one point in time I had Stern Lightning and WMS Flash and the above pin (current visual clue)
all set up in a row in my garage back in California.
These all were from the same era (early S/S).
Quoted from Classics_Master:Is the Voltan escapes cosmic doom Bally?
@classics_master, that is the right answer - next clue is yours...
I have played this machine and love the artwork and never noticed the aircraft, or the mushroom clouds, or the hand lifting them up for that matter. Must of been something else on the BG I was looking at...
voltan (resized).jpgQuoted from ReadyPO:or the hand lifting them up for that matter.
If you look closely at the hand/arm , what some may interpret as the hand of god
is in reality the rolled up sleeve and arm of Dave Christensen, or so I have read.

I actually had a Voltan escapes cosmic doom in my collection for a short time back nearly 20 years ago, wish I’d kept it for the artwork alone. Very interesting game. Also, note the scrolls by the score windows, it’s made into look like bible quotes. I remember taking detail pictures of this glass, a lot of detail for sure. Also one of the only Bally’s with score displays in this configuration.
GTB Close Encounters of 3rd Kind

NOTE: Close Encounters came out in 1978
Voltan came out in 1979 (but start of the project development for this game was in 1978)
