I’m 4 months into this super addictive hobby and I’m decorating my game room.

I was thinking of what the actual diff skill levels are to pinball.

I feel like most of us say ‘i need to stop sucking at pinball’ while they play. Or maybe that’s just me.

Anyway, this is what I came up with. Let me know if I got it right… lol

I'm going to need that flipper to go down further on the left side. I still use both flippers at the same time.

Then once the dial gets to "good," play in a expo tournament to test your skills...and dial it right back to "casual" :p

    My experience anyway

I feel like there's a level in between I Know How To Play and Good. Not sure what it would be called, something appropriate to a person that's learning and developing their skills, but couldn't be considered Good. Knowing how and actually executing seem like a distance apart. I mean, I think I know what I should be doing, but actually making that happen is still a challenge most of the time. However, I still suck.

    Maybe something like this:

    "chimp flipper"
    "getting better"
    "good casual player"
    "wizard mode achiever"
    "tournament competitor"
    "tournament winner"
    "tournament champion"
    "tournament state champion"
    "tournament national champion"
    "tournament world champion"
    "rule the universe wizard mode"

Double flipping continually; belief the game is nothing but random luck

Realization you may only need to flip the flipper that will hit the ball.

Realization you may be able to actually have control over the ball

Spend next 30 years trying to control the ball

Get too old; reaction time suffers. Depression sets in
