Hello Pinside!
I'd like to introduce a new pinball podcast for your enjoyment but before we get any further, some basic info on what this is and why we are doing it.
What is Pinball Plaid?
Pinball Plaid is a group of my multi talented friends who have decided to take on an ambitious project with me. My band Flannel wanted something new to tackle so I proposed a merger of my two favorite hobbies, pinball and music.
What's the project?
We are taking a very beat up, very DOA Zaccaria Combat and converting it from an EM game to a solid state game. But wait there is more! We will also be recording a custom soundtrack for the game and will be writing all new code. Yes we are crazy but that's what makes it fun.
What's the Podcast about?
The podcast will be focused on documenting our progress as well as providing general pinball discussion. The real fun here is that other than my friend Steve and myself, all of the other members of this project who are from my band are new to the hobby. Follow along as we infect them with the sickness that is pinball.
