The Pinball Palace in Brunswick GA
3303 Hopkins Ave Brunswick GA. 31520

This place is *coming soon* as of reporting today,
approx open date is later this month.
I heard about it through the grape vine and had to help share the word!

They have a good variety of games from the 70s, 90s and modern games.
Many LEs, most games are LED'd and isn't located that far from I-95.

Here is a video of what they currently have (but more games coming in I was told)...

    Their Website...
    http://www.thepinballpalace.com

In conclusion, this will hands down be the best pinball location in Georgia once opened ever!
Just south of here is the Fernandina Beach Pinball Museum as well, so this region is no joke!

Might have to schedule some training at FLETC.

That is a nice collection of games

Closer to the beach area on the island are some very good restaurants as well.

Argh! Five+ hours away from Atlanta...

    #6 1 year ago

An hour North of Jacksonville makes this a nice weekend trip destination- combining pinball, fresh seafood and the beach. Looks like a great lineup of pins too. Wish these guys success and look forward to a future visit.

My prayers have been answered...this is in my backyard.

I thought I would have to open something like this myself -- but was too afraid as I have no clue about this kind of business.

    #9 1 year ago

I'm excited to see it too, I hope they do really well!

If this place was near me, I'd re-evaluate the number of pins I owned. When a location has most top titles including new releases, and they maintain them, they are doing the heavy lifting - buying, shipping, maintaining and selling them. Home owners no longer need to become an expert in any of these aspects nor will they be tying up their own capital from ownership. You can visit regularly and be prepared to drop $20+. Remember, by selling your pins you'll generate plenty of cash and hopefully the money you spend playing on location is way less. It is a great option to ponder, one that most don't have the luxury of considering if they want to play lots of pinball.

I left a voicemail to see if they are actually finally really totally and truly open.
I'll post here when I can confirm.

    Dope!!!
And 3 more pins have been added since the opening on Tuesday... they got the Super sweet JJack Wizard o Oz , Hot Shots ‘89 , and Globe trotters ‘79.. like they said nice selection of games of all era... and also I know Hot Shots has an absolutely hideous back glass,LOL, but the Playfield is gorgeous and it is actually quite a fun pin. Once I got past that Bg nd played it I found myself on it for like 20 min ha.

Also they are constantly looking to acquire new pins apparently. So anyone looking to offload any of theirs definitely drop a line out to this place bc they are always buying from what I understand, the owner has a few he looking to get specifically too so u never know.. .. but I’ll def be spending all my free time up there for the foreseeable future LOL

Looking like a good collection of Pat Lawlor games there.

Had a great time there on Sunday. Great collection! Thanks for the hospitality... here's hoping you'll host an ifpa tournament soon.

I focused on SW premium, ST premium, and SMVE, and stepside pointed out I was having a Steve Ritchie day. Their lineup of new pins is really something!

    Incredible place.
Went down there today. An impressive lineup of imamaculate machines - pros, premiums. A good mix of all the newer stuff and some older dmds, ss, ems and even a few woodrails. All very well kept.
Clean place, family friendly but doesnt feel like a chuck-e-cheeze - they sell beer, turn down the lights around 5 and have a jukebox with a good music selection.
Had a chat with the owner and he was very nice, as was the rest of the staff.
Im now at a cool oyster bar 10 minutes away from there to recover from the 5 hours of playing so a perfect day for me.
    Highly recommended.
