    Great episode, love the insight!!

There is much less "PEPE SYLVIA! PEPE SYLVIA!" going on with that whiteboard than I expected...

Thought that was going to be a surprise soft-confirmation of a "Ted Lasso" themed pin! Cool ep - I enjoy hearing celebrity pinhead stories.

    Quoted from ZMeny:

    - Next Stern Cornerstone Title Reveal

You kids and your clickbait podcast liner notes!

    #3516 1 year ago

I figured the Elf speculation/evidence as a future title was enough to warrant that note. Good ep, kudos for carrying one "solo" and keeping it interesting.

I thought the Insider Connected "play against my friends" idea was cool - expanding on that a bit, the idea of a virtual leagues is fun.... until I realized that it would just open up my scores on RUSH to further internet scrutiny/clowning....

With the number of keyboard warriors and "talk shit - get hit" tough-guys you see around Pinside and coin-op communities in general, it's truly incredible to turn around and hear that a person simply asking for decency and talking about protecting their family is met with anything other than high praise. Such is the internet, I guess. Fuck any noise otherwise, I thought it was a mature and measured take on the situation. Sorry you're having to deal with it.

Is it possible those aren't final production games we saw at Expo? They could be photoshoot or validation machines which could still be tweaked.

The pops fire together in the home games to cut down on node boards needed, and therefore production cost. With supply constraints, perhaps they didn't have the node boards to spare so they built proto/photoshoot games with a "hack" on the pops? Production games might have all needed nodes for the pops to be independent. Bit of a stretch I'll admit - but wishful thinking!

An old quote often attributed to Dale Earnhardt comes to mind, watching this thread for the last couple days:

"It doesn't matter if fans boo or cheer, as long as they're making noise."

Lotsa noise in here, gotta love it!
