It's interesting that Ben says he wasn't aware of Spike2 rebooting. It's happened since at least Iron Maiden when it manifest as a hard lock in attract mode. I also believe it is/was a memory leak. Since they couldn't fix it immediately, Stern added a Microsoft-style "maintenance reboot" once every 24 hours to stop it from locking up. I saw it because we had one on location that was on 24/7 with a security camera that triggered when the lights went out on the playfield, marking the reboot point for me. They were doing it on other games, too, but I'm not sure if they ever solved it or just kept it rebooting every 24 hours.
JJP did it on WoZ for the 6.xx versions rather than fix the core problem. They eventually DID fix the kernel issue that caused the lockup about a year or two later, but the maintenance reboots may still be a thing.
I experience the reboot on Star Wars too. It never locks, but provides a very loud squelch on its way out. It actually cooked the voice-coil in an aftermarket subwoofer. I suspect the sound is connected to having installed a topper.

Maybe you just need to be more of a gamer to appreciate the geekery that was going on. I've never played WOW and thought it was hilarious. A seemingly throwaway line ("32.33 (repeating of course)") even turned into a whole thing for awhile.
Den Den will always be #1, but Amanda was an excellent co-host. Smart, funny and entertaining.
She needs her own show on TPN.
When I was a kid I always thought it is dumb that in the Disney movies, characters suddenly start to sing (to express their feelings). - Noone in real live would do that.
Then I "met" Zach Meny! 
-> For your next unboxing video I want you to sing a song (happy happy joy joy?) and suddenly having a band jump in from the off joyning you!
