My 11-year old son had a friend over and I introduced him to pinball...the friend was all gungho for playing the Wii until I showed him the garage...they played pinball first, then went to play the Wii...about an hour later he asks my son if they can play pinball again. Game on!! It was fun explaining to him about quarters, rules, etc. He really took to it. He asked me an odd question though. He wondered why the game didn't automatically start when you dropped a quarter. I guess he's used to claw games and redemption games perhaps? It was really fun seeing an 11-year old enjoying, with no prompting, this hobby. Made all the hard work worthwhile.
