I downloaded the trial on 360 tonight and gave it a whirl. Seems to play well enough to me. I'm going to hold out until I have a chance to play it on PS3 before making a purchase though. The shoulder buttons on the PS3 controller lend themselves to pinball better than the 360's IMO.

Quoted from TheStranger:

I don't think anyone is going to argue that a 10 dollar downloadable pinball game is going to be comparable to the real thing. But for what it is its good. These games might also inspire kids to want to seek out the real thing.

RBION seems to have gone up in price a bit over the past few months. Wonder if there is any sort of correlation with it's release on Pinball Arcade? Perhaps the increased exposure has made the game more desirable to a greater audience.

Quoted from Blakesell:

it took a long time to beat jarjar on zen marvel pinball on ps3, I hope it outlines it so I can work to beat him on pinball arcade as well.

Hmmm... Sounds like I need to get back to work!

Quoted from Marten:

Have you tried switching the flipper buttons from the triggers to the shoulder buttons? It's in the settings. You can't change it in the controls menu so I was lucky to find the option. The triggers have indeed a far too long throw for this.

Thanks for the tip. I'll give this a shot tonight.

Torched the in-game high score on TOM! Pretty much sucked it up on the other tables.

The physics aren't perfect, but they're decent. All in all it is money well spent just to be able to learn the rulesets of these pins.

Is it me or do the flippers seem a tad slow to respond.
I never had that feeling on the Williams collection.
It's because they mapped them to triggers by default, which are analogue, and there's a deadzone. On the 360 version at least in the options you can switch it to shouldet buttons.
That's the least of the games problems though, the physics are just plain wrong - ruins the tables which look accurate and well lit.
How can it be fixed in PS3?

Do you mean the flipper button mappings?

If so, you go into Options and there is a setting to change it. On PS3 they have it set to the shoulder buttons which is the way I feel it should be. No change required!

Think it was a mistake to include STTNG on the TZ Kickstarter. They should have done a separate one IMO. I suspect a lot of people will start backing out their pledges when it gets to the end and it isn't close to $110K.

Hope I'm wrong, but...

Quoted from Frax:

I own a STTNG....and virtual balls ain't much of a motivator, but the op menus would be, if that was at the 25$ tier instead of the ludicrous 100$....no way in hell I'm paying that, even if I could afford to, sorry.

I still don't get the whole having to pay for the operator menu thing. Seems like something that should just be included with all the tables like it is with their competitor's games.
