The Mac version doesn't yet allow in-game purchases (you would have to use the app store), but that's academic because they've also not released any extra tables for the Mac version. Latest word is that as of June 14th, they were 10 days or so away from having the first two bonus packs available. Apparently, there was some kerfuffle over them releasing a demo version for the Mac when that isn't allowed.

As far as I can tell, though, the update has been said to be coming out "next week" for a great many weeks, so make of that what you will.

Yeah, I'm still hoping the update happens, the lag is improved, and we get BoP/MB. I'm not holding my breath, though. I get the sense they are spread a little thin across platforms and Mac is at the bottom of the stack.
