Any updates on PS3 titles being released?

I'm genuinely upset that there is no Xbox One version of this game.

Its coming soon.

So... what's the next table to be released?

They still don't have "touch" controls on Steam version. Arggg.

"We were able to get touch controls to work. Unfortunately, the DLL it requires isn't supported on Win XP. If I released the build with that in, Win XP users could no longer play at all. I haven't had time to work on a fix for that. So for now its disabled."

WindowsXP...? MS doesn't even support that OS anymore.

How about moving a DMD to another monitor. So simple.... Pinball FX2 has it... It is not that complicated.

Really, We are going to disable a feature based on an OS released in 2001. 13 fucking years ago?

But the main thing I am ticked off by is the lack of moving the DMD to a new monitor. I want to move my Vcab to work. So I can move in a Baby Pac man. But, I want everyone at work to have a great experience. Not a tablet PC with buttons attached to legs.

We were talking about the XBox One not the XBox 360 (which I agree has been strung along forever since Crave went bankrupt).

Farsight announced that they were in fact going to make an XBox One version of the game in their newsletter #26 sent on April 11th quoting a mid-summer release. Before that there was a lot of doubt whther they would make an XBOne version at all after what they went through for the XB360.

"If you've been paying attention to Microsoft's ID@Xbox initiative you might already have caught this, but we're proud to announce that we have been hard at work on the Xbox One version of Pinball Arcade! We're expecting to launch mid summer 2014 with the entire Season Two collection. "

The only reason I'm keeping up with the news on the XBOne version is because they are delaying season 2 for PS4 until 30 days after the XBOne launch to meet with Microsoft's new indie publishing policy (which apparently saves FS a lot of money in submission fees).

So sorry for the long delay in answering this. I am the person you most likely talked to at the Expo. I have been away for a week and did not see this until I returned.
Here is the situation on the Cabinet support. As you know, Paul at Virtuapin has given us a beautiful cabinet to work with and we are actually about halfway through the process.
The schedule we have already set up, one table a month, already takes up a good deal of our time. The other projects we have on our plate (Pinball Construction Kit, Pinball After Dark and the Cabinet Support) all have to be worked on during hours that are not already scheduled for the regular releases of Pinball Arcade. When we got the VP table last year we did not envision having to spend so much time other important projects. The largest of them being Xbox1 and PS4.
The Cabinet version is by no means a dead project. This is something we will release when we can. unfortunately, like last year, we are just not sure when that will be.
But we will... I promise.

We've agreed upon terms with all of the major licenses and clearances we need to FINALLY do a Kickstarter to recreate the highly anticipated ADDAMS FAMILY™ pinball table!!! That's a direct quote from the Farsight newsletter. Doesn't necessarily mean that he works for them.

I work for Farsight??? That's news to me... (I thought I had put in in a 'quote box' - not sure what happened there.)

But, no, I do not work for Farsight and should have done a better job attributing the quote. (And reading the post above mine.)

I would be surprised if Farsight had a presence here that they made known. They would have to deal with a lot of flack, but rightfully so IMO.

Yep it's out! Diner was just released today! Did anybody get the hint for the next table in the newsletter?

The next table is the highly speculated Bram Stoker's Dracula to bring the season to a full-circle closing (the first table was another infamously hard table, Fish Tales)

And this is why Stern doesn't frequent these forums. I can't blame them.

Hopefully they update HRC so it plays a bit slower. It's at least twice as fast on my iPad (1) than any other machine on there. Very weird.

Here's the hint. Looks like it will be BSD, after all.

Maybe I'm just dense, but I don't get a BSD reference there. Not saying that it's NOT BSD, I have a strong rumor that it is, I just don't get the reference if it's there.

Google "look at me i'm helpless as a" Guess what comes up that's musical "Misty" as in Mist multiball then someone also said La Paloma is the name of the california estate of Bela Lugosi, so it does sound likely that it is BSD

I think you nailed it. BSD is going to be awesome, probably the best title for this season by far IMO.

Man. Lately, these things have been just a torture to play. So much unlike how a pinball really moves. The ball moves way too fast.

Wow... that's pretty cryptic! I'm impressed that they came up with it, and someone solved it.

The picture also has a hidden paw print and whiskers. I think the BSD guessers are over thinking it.

I think those are human hands on the Dr. Dude logo (which needs to be cleaned up) and have nothing to do with the clue. The print is from a human as well; the same applies.

Once again, it's that song. Looking further into the song, "And I feel like I'm clingin' to a cloud", mostly refers to WIIIIIINDS (Mist Multiball) in BSD.

Shame there doesn't seem to be an XBOX ONE release anytime soon...

"The XBox One version is scheduled to go into pre-certification next week! We can't wait to get this version into the wild. The tables are looking great!"

Not sure if this is the same case for the 360...

Pre-certification? The problem is that MS decides when a game gets released online, and that's even after it's fully certified and ready to go. So pre-certification doesn't make me think it's gonna be soon.
Also, zen pinball is releasing before the month is out and MS will want to space out two pinball titles. So I'd be surprised if it's anytime soon. I hope I'm wrong though...

I have tried VP before. Not a big fan of the tools

Ahhh. What about future pinball? I think that is easier/more straight forward and with the newer physics patch works much better.That is the platform all the new sterns are emulated on.

Would love to see more newer stern games get made for this. No chance of stern letting it happen for any games that might get a VE, but HRC is a good start.

I never tried Future pinball. I guess at the end of the day i would like to see more pre-rendered pinball games like Timeshock by Pro-pinball. Not that the real-time FP and VP aren't fun its just that they will always far short graphically compared to something pre-rendered. Frame rate too. Since a pre-rendered game isn't processing as much geometry it will always have a higher frame rate and there by better game play(i think). And it looks soooooo much better.
