Based on the activity here on Pinside, my next Podcast should be about USPS and Stern remakes.
At least my Dad listened to it...

I listened to it this morning. It was excellent. Please make more. Is the idea that you'll put them out via the One and Done "channel", or will you get your own space?

One small request: If possible, please use mp3 rather than m4a format. The former is universal and will play pretty much everywhere. AAC/m4a = much less so.

    Thanks!

Thanks, good feedback! I'm guessing 192kbps CBR is good enough quality?
I haven't decided yet whether to keep using One and Done, or start up yet another podcast. I love the concept of One and Done, and I definitely want to see it succeed.

192 CBR should be more than enough.

I really like the theme you picked -- seems to be open to lots of different discussions and/or recurring segments. Feel free to PM me if you run out of ideas.

Note that I'm not mentioning the theme itself because you haven't in this thread (I don't think), and maybe it'll prompt more people to give it a listen out of curiosity. Note to these people: It will be worth your time, even if you have to convert the file to mp3 as I did.

I listened. It was entertaining. I have no idea how you guys do this while you're driving. I can barely chew gum while I drive.

It's been too long, I'm back with a new episode.

Listening now. Nice job as always.

Pretty sure you shouldn't have been DQd on game 2 per the (new?) IFPA rules. Can't seem to find documentation to back up this claim, but I remember hearing someone in an official capacity talk about how all players are now held accountable for making sure the proper number of players is selected.

    EDIT: Yup.
    http://www.ifpapinball.com/rules
"In any multiplayer match on any machine, it is the equal responsibility of ALL players involved in the match to ensure that the correct number of players are started. If a game is started with the incorrect number of players, anything that occurs within that game is considered void, with no penalty to any player. At no time may players be added to the game once player 1 has plunged their ball into play. At no time may player 1 finish their game as a single-player. The game must be restarted from scratch, with the correct number of players started. Players may always ask a scorekeeper or tournament official to instead start the game in any final round. If the scorekeeper or official makes a mistake, the game will be terminated and restarted, with no penalty to any player. There will be no compensation or adjustment of scores or game state at any time."

Can you post the video stream info here? I just breezed passed it, but had to focus on boring work stuff. Thanks.

Here's a discussion on pinball co-ops/clubs I recorded with my friends Martha and Austin.

Hey man, we all need a vaca. BTW I listened to the podcasts you made about the history of your arcade involvement. Really great listening!! Makes me want to quit my job and join the circus!
    A.

Request: Possible for you to stop adding really faint background music to your podcast? It's very distracting, at least to my ear. It would probably be better if it were louder, but no music might be the best option (other than for transitions).

Maybe I'm the only one that feels this way?
