The scoop news is a mild bummer. Things happen and I’m glad that Stern will initiate a fix. So enjoy this film and think about the fun you will have when you get to play this pin.

I played a few games on a Pro today. It had a nice feel to it. Lots to shoot. The Pro definitely feels like a complete game.
Thumbs waaaay up!
Quoted from J-drum11:Anyone actually play a Rush machine yet?
If so how is it ?
I was lucky to get on LE list and I’m a huge rush fan but want to make sure it’s a good playing machine
Yes I played a (Pro 4-5 games). I definitely like it. I have an LE coming, but would buy a Pro without hesitation.
This game is a long awaited friend….
Scoop info from the always reliable mnpinball.
Quoted from mnpinball:LE has the upgraded scoop protector, all games going forward also. The early Pros will have to get the retrofit kit from Distributor or Stern. Contact your selling dealer for info. Or submit a warranty claim with your serial number and info etc....
Just opened my game today. On my wifi, the update took about 45 min. I wasn’t in a hurry so no big deal. Some of that will be server side.
If I remember correctly, it takes me about that long to download, extract, transfer to usb and then install on a game.
I should note than on my same wifi, GNR updates very quickly.
Also, I adjusted the music attenuation. I changed it to -15. That seemed to work well. (Reminder. This increases the music volume.)
Out of the box, it seemed a little off. It was almost like It was going through a filter. Not the clear pop I would expect. Changing the attenuation helped substantially.
Regarding the scoop:
The new scoop protector went out on LEs. I would reasonably assume that it would go out on all games moving forward. Shipping to the original pro owners may simply be a matter of supply.
The new solution is not perfect, as the “forks” affect the ball going into the scoop. It does appear to be holding up to my minimal home use.
Quoted from McIntyre905:Anyone else getting an extremely loud screeching sound when entering high score initials? Like extremely loud
It’s the knocker. Stern uses a screech instead of an old fashioned knocker for high scores etc.
Go to adjustments and find knocker volume. Set to OFF.
Resume having fun!
Quoted from cooked71:If my game has been on for a while, it will make a random, very loud screech. Happens also on GZ. Anyone else had this and is it just a code bug?
Easy fix.
That’s the knocker in modern Stern games. It can be disabled in the settings menu.
