Alright so very new to pinball and I'm stressed about this damn scoop breaking or getting mangled in mine. when it arrives can I just cut a piece of mylar and put it on top of the scoop to help it maybe not get mangled? How hard would it be for me to remove the scoop before we use it? Or should I just keep it as it until we have the issue happen?
Quoted from finman2000:They may have fixed the problem by the time yours is made.
Just paid final payment my distro says 5 weeks. Should I still ask?
Also thanks everyone for the info!
Quoted from AUKraut:You should be fine, nothing to stress about. Stern is correcting the issue starting with the LEs, which are already on the line.
Bless thanks guys super stoked
Quoted from bemmett:It bothers me more, they have Roll The Bones art on some machines and plastics and it built into the scoop but no Roll The Bones music. At least a little snippet related to the scoop/mystery would be nice. I really like that album, some good music on there.
Really hoping they can add some tunes

Damn this is sick! First time pin owner here how hard is something like that to install? Do you have a link to where you got this?
Paid the final fees to have it delivered today! Definitely will have to try and get my next machine in Canada. So many fees I had no idea about getting from the states lol
Quoted from pinballjah:What are the extra fees on top of the purchase price? Be great to know for us Canadians that may want to import a new game down the road. Thanks.
900 usd to ship it from tnt to me then I just paid 2.3k cdn with the damn broker to get it over the border
Quoted from kool1:Who is the shipper bringing it across? Sounds crazy expensive unless that includes sales taxes?
Speedy? Honestly not sure tnt who I got it off of supplied them I've never done anything like this before haha my first machine was purchased in Canada haha
Quoted from Gryszzz:Wow. Sucks to be you.
Anyhow here's Wonderwall
Quoted from aamauzy:RIP Riley. Such a great album.
♥️♥️
The stars have aligned. We got this machine for my stepdad for his bday gift. Looks like his LE is arriving tomorrow on his birthday!
Quoted from flynnibus:Last rush upgrade was over 8gigs
You need a usb stick with a 16gig fat32 partition
Think this will do?
https://www.bestbuy.ca/en-ca/product/kingston-datatraveler-exodia-32gb-usb-3-2-flash-drive-2-pack/15296935
Quoted from flynnibus:Yes - should. It just seems to help partitioning as 16gig or smaller. Using windows dsik management is easy tool to do so. Avoid apple’s disk utility. Use diskpart or other utility on osx if needed
Not gonna lie. You are speaking French haha. Do I need to partition the usb drive or can I just plug it in download the update and plug it into the machine?
Quoted from kool1:Nice idea. I have the Rush Funko Pop characters but not as cool.
I waited in line way to long to take my Rush funkos out of the box haha
So I got my machine and the two bolts used for the back of the top piece don't seem to fit where they want me to put them at the back but they do go inside the top part into the base. *Sorry if those terms are not correct
Thank you lol! Now I can't seem to update. Doesn't connect to my wifi and when I tried to download to my usb its telling me disk full. It's a empty 32 GB stick.
Also does this need to be connected to the Internet at all times to use insider connect ?
Does anyone hardwire the eithernet cord? If so did you drill a whole for it to run or what did you do?
Quoted from Sleal16:Just a matter on how much modification you want to do. Least amount of work+changing the stock cabinet is running a cable through the top of the backbox. Theres a hole there for the topper wiring.
Totally gonna use the topper hole thanks!
Anyone else getting an extremely loud screeching sound when entering high score initials? Like extremely loud
Quoted from manadams:Probably your knocker noise that can be turned down or off in standard adjustments menu.
Okay I'll try and find that. It came from the speakers is that the same?
Quoted from Guinnesstime:Yep. He's got a billion on the waitlist. None produced as of yesterday.
Where can I join this waitlist
Quoted from Apollo18:Email Cliff.
He is pretty good on reply time.
You can place your order(s)
And he will tell you expected time.
Which atm is a few weeks.

Thank you so much
Did anyone increase the auto pull ? (Whatever it's called) my balls don't seem to make it around the loop
Also is there a way to reset the high scores ? My dad's not very good but I'd like to have him on the scoreboard haha
Quoted from PinMonk:It looks like it's rattling, but hard to tell exactly. Can you shoot that again with slo-mo mode on the phone? It's the best feature ever for diagnosing these issues.
EDIT: Using youtube's controls, I can slow it down some. It looks like it's catching air on the ramp flap and hitting the underside of the plastic ramp above. If you shoot with slo-mo again, if you can do the overhead AND ALSO a shooter lane view looking forward from the shooter position, it should make it clear.
IF catching air is the main issue, then turning down the auto-launch power might fix the problem for you.
Quoted from PinMonk:It's definitely leaning left on the launch which causes it to hit the wall on the left and bounces it to the right starting the rattle, robbing energy from the ball.
Take a pic from the opposite angle of what the auto launch forks look like at rest with a ball in the shooter lane so I can see the alignment.
PXL_20220313_235628483 (resized).jpg
Quoted from PinMonk:The forks are off by a tiny smidge, but I don't think that would create the issue you're having. Does it work sometimes? Some of your launches looked better than others. If it's inconsistent, it could be lateral slop in the forks, and you can fix that by adding a washer or two to tighten up the left-right movement of them on the rod they're pivoting on. Try moving them left and right from under the PF and see if there's a fair amount of movement on the rod.
I did mine with autolaunch a bunch of times in a row, and it was perfect every time. So it's some kind of adjustment or assembly error for yours. Did you try reducing the autolaunch power in the settings?
Sorry I'm really new haha what size washer? Thanks for the help I'll deff try this
Quoted from PinMonk:You mean the stainless steel plate? Take it out and polish it on a buffing wheel. It'll look better than new. I wouldn't worry about it myself.
No looks like the bottom of the time machine plastic is getting hit
Quoted from PinMonk:What problem am I looking at?
The playfield is chipping near the hole
Quoted from PinMonk:Needs more light to be able to see it clearly, but you have 4 choices to address it:
1. Mylar
2. Sally Hansen Clear nail polish (or this to arrest the chip, THEN also mylar over it once it's dried to stop more chipping)
3. Cliffy protector
4. Ninja TPU flexible protector (not sure if this is released yet, they showed a pic)
Thank you I'll try and find a link to those. Has cliffy been released yet I think I'm on the waiting list
Quoted from upsfeedr:So the Cliffy`s are available to order?
Yea shoot him a email he told me he's about 4 weeks behind though
Quoted from kool1:These are perfect to cover that ugly red IC badge [quoted image]
Haha I was at that show!
Forgive me if this is easy to find or do I couldn't see anything searching. How do I install the cliffy protectors
Quoted from PinMonk:I don't recall seeing a step-by step on them for RUSH. Which one(s) are you looking to install?
I got the complete set or whatever he was selling that had all of them (sorry new to pins)
