Yep. Why on earth would you pay this much money for a new game just to watch someone else play it first on a stream?

I've never understood it.

Quoted from Motorcitypinball:

we will be streaming Rush LE Gameplay at 3pm Eastern time today March 6
on twitch Motorcitypinball

Congratulations for being post #2112.

Quoted from Boslaw:

Last question -- what's the point of the see through window on the playfield next to the scoop. It doesn't seem to serve any purpose. Is there something below that I should be seeing at some point in the game?

It’s supposed to be a ball lock for more than one ball. You can see it working on the Pre/LE trailer but it’s not programmed for that right now. I don’t know why, but I think it’s a virtual lock until it’s coded correctly.

#3229 2 years ago

What he said.

#3231 2 years ago

I agree with that as well. It took me awhile to figure out what was going on.

#3735 2 years ago

The new update is f***ing great!! It’s starting to play and sound like a really polished pinball machine. Nice work guys!

And thank you for “blah blah blah blah blah blah blah!!!

#4639 2 years ago

As much as I love the guys, I would have to agree. I’d actually like to hear a LOT more of Ed as the 2112 voice, with Alex and Geddy being used more as color commentators.

Quoted from beelzeboob:

Okay, Rush fans...honest question: What's the significance of the cork falling into some hole/galaxy thing in the middle of the playfield. I get the Tom Sawyer raft thing and the radio, but I can't for the life of me figure out what song this is supposed to represent. I never noticed it and now I can't unsee it.

They really like wine.

#4762 2 years ago

That would be my guess. A cork coming out of Cygnus X-1.

#4763 2 years ago

I noticed this last night. They’re rocking out at the local laundromat apparently.

#4983 2 years ago

Does a longer actuator mean I can actually see the first locked ball now? Because that would be a great improvement.

#4998 2 years ago

Turn it on in settings Boob. Mine works great!

Borg shows you on the video around 16:30

#5083 2 years ago

If you’re quoting Hall and Oates then you’re right. Operation: Mindcrime might not be for you.

#5085 2 years ago

MANEATER.

#5089 2 years ago

Yes. But which Queensryche?

Quoted from gsrogers:

I want to thank Geddy, Alex, and Neil (in spirit) for where Rush pin is and will become. It is my belief that they advised Stern early on what they expected in a pin with their name on it more than any other band. I bet they were VERY involved with the development and final approval of almost every aspect. Their commitment to team work and honoring the "Rush brand" is what delivered us a great pin. Well this is me belief for what it is worth.

A lot of credit goes to Ed Robertson.

According to Alex, he was the guy who held the reins during the development.

So thanks Ed Robertson!! The game is amazing! AMAZING!!

Quoted from ChesterWhite:

Please post your fix if you find one / hear back from Stern ! The clock on my LE is 2 minutes off and no matter how I adjust the bias, I can never get it to stick to the exact time. It either adjusts father away, or once I think I have it dialed in... it still goes to being 2 minutes off once out of adjustment mode.
I accept that it's not an scientific device that needs to be aligned with global atomic clocks; so in the reality of life... it's not a big deal. Just seems weird that it won't stick to the the adjusted time once I get it there.

Is your game connected to Wi-Fi? Insider Connected? If not, the clock will never be right.

#7028 1 year ago

I agree. I can’t get enough of it. Every Rush fan should be able to play an LE in a dark room with the volume cranked up-or some really good headphones. It’s completely immersive! I absolutely love it!

#7032 1 year ago
Quoted from indypinhead:

I have the pinwoofer kit hooked up to my Rush premium. I was thinking about ordering the headphone jack/volume control from Pinball Life. Has anyone done this? If so, what is your opinion?
https://www.pinballlife.com/stern-spike-2-headphone-jack-assembly.html

Yes yes yes! I installed the same one and it’s my new favorite way to play the game. All of the sound is balanced and in stereo. It sounds amazing.
Plus, having a volume control on the outside of the game is really useful.

#7033 1 year ago
Quoted from Insanity199:

I am not following. This is not the system clock but the rush game clock which has nothing to do with the actual time that can be acquired from internet time servers.

Yes. The Rush clock. You can adjust it all you want. But if you’re not Insider Connected, it will never stay at the right time. I did the same thing you did until I knew that.

These gameroommods tubes are awesome! Exactly what was needed. Great attention to detail, size, etc.

Nice job!

Quoted from VisitorQ:

Those are certainly nice but do they really out weight the looks of the Mezel Mod time machine mod?
https://mezelmods.com/collections/rush-pinball-mods/products/rush-pinball-time-machine-upgrade

I'm not a big fan of that mod. So yes. Yes they do.

#7379 1 year ago

I think if you're going to do it, you might as well go all in and try to make it look like the one on the Time Machine tour. But my guess is that they're going to do that for the topper. Just my guess.

#7542 1 year ago

I know Alex and he isn’t really a pinball guy. But I also haven’t talked to him since I got one, so it’s a good question to ask him. I do know he’ll give most of the credit to Ed Robertson for being in charge of the whole thing, and they definitely worked hard on it to make sure it was good.

#7697 1 year ago

I made one for my machine. Works perfectly!

#7700 1 year ago

Here's a photo of mine. It was a spare piece of plastic I shaped with a dremel and belt sander. It works 100% and is invisible in the game.

Honestly, I have no idea. I only know that it looks good and works perfectly. It registers every time and is really smooth. But I'm not the first one to come up with this. There have been earlier posts on this thread like this one that gave me the idea:

Quoted from indypinhead:

Just my 2 cents...
Just played the new code.
I want the old skill shot put back in. One chance...then auto-launch kicks in. I liked that feature.

I agree, wholeheartedly. I hate plunging twice.

Quoted from gandamack:

However Rush will not get much love from the pin community at large, simply because of the theme.

But as Rush fans, do we really care? We got our pin. And it’s a REALLY good one.

Quoted from Magicman:

And indeed I received the PM and they will be replacing my broken V-1 protector with a new V-2 protector. Now that's what I call great service!

Agreed! I just found out mine was broken in the same place and a new one is coming right away. Fantastic mod and great people behind it.

Get rid of the sandwich!

And yet people will keep buying it. So dumb.
