Quoted from ccw2112:Honestly the clock doesn’t make any sense at all to me…. It looks cool and the ‘time’ matches what’s up on the LED screen but what does it mean??? (I got a sub coming too looking forward to it!)

Quoted from beelzeboob:Ordering a set of these but wondering if the bulbs are removable. Not a fan, but maybe they look better in person?
They are removable, but it doesn’t look good to me with them off and the normal bulbs showing.
Quoted from upsfeedr:How hard were they to install? I like them much better looking then the stern ones.
Easy. It’s several pieces that just slip over the original with two sided tape.
The newly added callouts are great. My favorite is during Spirit when Alex sounds like a fan calling the radio station.
Challenge mode is very fun! I’ve beat it multiple times, but not under 5 mins to get that specific achievement.
Now let’s see the topper!
Quoted from TinyBlackDog:Anybody else avoiding the challenge mode until they get there in game? I was one time machine multiball away last night. Of the 3 wizard modes, this one seems achievable by non-pinball wizards, so I’m going to wait till I earn it. The other two are much harder to get to and I’ll probably jump right into the challenge modes.
I doubt we get the other two wizard modes as a challenge more. (if I understood you right). I wonder if the mode works the same in the game as it does in the challenge mode as far as having a timer running? You select your own path getting through it, so it feels different changing the order of the planets.
I love it. I think its the best challenge mode other than Jurassic Park's. It feels like its own mini game.
Quoted from Gryszzz:Next dumb question...
Update is done. How do i power cycle the machine again? Just off and on again?
At this point I'm gonna be asking every dumb little question, no shame
Yes, just turn it off for 10-15 seconds and back on. Once the game is in attract mode, you should be able to hold both flipper buttons until the screen says normal game. Then you can hit either button to go through and choose the Challenge Mode or play all the songs like a jukebox.
Quoted from aamauzy:Has anyone here put a shaker in their RUSH? Is that functionality even available in current code? Just occurred to me that I haven't really seen any mention of shakers since the first round of cabinets went out a while back.
While I sit here impatiently hoping for a magic "hey your cab is ready!" message, I'm looking at accessories.
Yes, the shaker is integrated very well. I recommend getting one.
Quoted from murfe88:Not sure if this has been mentioned or not. A couple days ago I got to CYGNUS 1. Now if I am logged into my insider connect there is a CYGNUS 1 song that I can choose from. If I am NOT logged into my inside connect it does not show up. See pic of me logged into insider connect with the option to choose the CYGNUS 1 song option.

Thanks for the info. I guess this is the hidden achievement. I got to Cygnus 1 a couple nights ago and haven’t played since. Just went and checked and Cygnus 1 is a selectable song now.

The issue is location, not speed. The ball is flying above the actuator and it is not depressing the switch. If you adjust it by bending it up, it will activate, but it can cause a ball trap.
Some of the solutions discussed above do slow the ball down, but that is to lower the ball trajectory, not to increase the time the switch is closed
I’m using a combination of the Ninja Camp loop mod and a magnetic switch from M&M Creations and mine is 100% now.
Quoted from murfe88:Curious what’s the furthest you have time traveled. I got to 2052.

Quoted from RebelGuitars:My game is freezing up on the new code every time I scroll to the song 2112, only if I'm logged in.
I downloaded/installed via USB. Its not crashing if I play without logging in.
Quoted from Pinstym:Updated over wifi. No crashing logged in.
Interesting. Did you scroll through the songs? Mine crashes every time I get to 2112.
Quoted from Pinstym:Yeah, logged in and scrolled back and forth.
Thanks. I reported it to Stern. I guess I'll play not logged in for now, or try to go back to the last update, then try it again via wifi.
Quoted from BeeGee6533:This new code is VERY buggy. I’ve had the game freeze up and crash on me 3 times in an hour. All on different song modes.
I posted earlier that every time I logged in and scrolled through the songs, it froze/crashed on 2112. If I don’t log in, it’s fine. Or if I don’t scroll to 2112, it’s fine.

Maybe todays update was larger than all previous ones and hence is now using space on your sd card that is bad, which could cause the game to lock up when you song select.
I guess its possible, but I played several games last night making sure I didn't scroll to 2112 when selecting songs and it never crashed.
I did reinstall the code again on a different USB with the same results.
Quoted from PinMonk:Might be your SD card. The stock Stern one is crap.
I’m going to try another SD card today. I can play with zero glitches as long as I don’t log in to Insider Connect. And I’ve had no glitches when logged in if I play whatever the default song at start and leave it on that selection.
Quoted from PinMonk:Might be your SD card. The stock Stern one is crap.
Just tried a new SD card; same results. Game crashes when I scroll through the songs. But it’s only if I scan into Insider Connect.
I’ve had my game for a while now and have done every update since code .88. First time I’ve ever had an issue.
Quoted from PinMonk:Wow, weird. Maybe something weird with the install? I'd try downloading a finished SD card image from Stern's site and imaging that new SD card with the current code, skipping the USB or network install. See if there's something wrong with the install.
https://sternpinball.com/support/sd-cards/
That’s what I did. Same results.
Quoted from TomGWI:I had an issue with my game kept crashing. I tried a new SD and didn’t work. I contacted my distributor and had stern sent me a new cpu. After that I never had an issue with a reset. I would try to get a new cpu imho.
I’ve had it since Feb and had no issues until this past update. And if I don’t log in to Insider Connect, it doesn’t crash.
Quoted from PinMonk:Heretofore known as the "RebelGuitars" effect.
No more crashing. Now I can make my username even longer. Thanks Raymond!
Curious if some of you are still not using Insider Connected since it’s the only way of achieving two additional songs? I think it’s one of the coolest IC features so far. No extra cost, you just have to log in and make it to Cygnus 1 & 2.
Quoted from Jamesays:Is this different than updating code with USB ?I played Cygnus 1 last night no IC and its got both 1 and 2 in extra modes .
Doesn’t matter if it’s USB or WiFi, you just need to be on the latest code. And it’s not the two Challenge modes, it’s getting to the two mini wizard modes within the normal game.
If you are logged in and get to Cygnus 1 or 2, then those songs become selectable as one of your songs choices to choose at the beginning of each ball. They are tied to your IC account.
Pinball Life has Rush toppers and Expression Lights in stock; https://www.pinballlife.com/rush.html
Quoted from parsonsaj:Have to give a shout-out to John_I for his awesome topper light kit! If you play in a dark room you need this mod! Super easy install and looks great. Before and after pics:[quoted image][quoted image]
How white is the white setting? Every pic has looked blue-ish.
