Presto mod?
Quoted from Gryszzz:Oh I didn't see that stupid ass skeleton thought it was just dice DIAL IT BACK HOMIE
Haha you do you I’ll do me!
Quoted from Boslaw:Yeah, I cut it with a Dremel (tin snips prob wouldn't work on this piece - it's thick & curved)
left rail. it was installed a little to far into the lane and should be straight rather than curved. Nothing to be done but live with it.
I’m going to look at my rail .
If that’s the case . I’ll bend it straight a little.
I’m actually thinking there’s another problem. With shooter.
I think the rubber piece on the end of the rod that hits the ball is out of shape a little.
I will test by slowly twisting the plunger in tiny increments until I find a spot that’s causing the most problems.
I'll be at the Pinball Garage in Cincinnati this Saturday with Violent Steve and Chuck Wurt come hang
Quoted from mark69:Just got my armor installed Traffic red matches the RUSH lettering almost perfect
[quoted image]
And that’s how stern should have done it!!
Rush screams red .
That looks awesome!!
If I didn’t have an LE , I would do the same.
I also like the fact you kept the coin door black
Quoted from Gryszzz:Are we modding the back of the backbox now lol
No.
yes yes yes we are !!!
Quoted from Gryszzz:If I've ever hung out/smoked out with ya at a show, you know I love it loud. Like, really loud.
I've got a fairly nice 300 watt sub on mine but...it's still not loud enough. I'm not one to sacrifice clarity for volume cause I want both.
I know there's some audiophiles in here so how can I make this louder?
1000 watt sub?
Pinwoofers?
Both?
Plan on getting the Pinwoofers soon, but
I need it LOUD.
I’m still waiting for my Rush which will go next to GnR and I’ve got the PA for my band hooked up to it. The tops are 1000W powered speakers with 15” drivers mounted on 1000W 15” subwoofers. So 4000 Watts total in a small room. So I’m thinking that might just be loud enough for you.

I unplugged all factory Speakers. It sounds great BTW.
Quoted from Black_Knight:I guess Rush will surpass LOTR as the most junked up machine out there.
These remind me of my high school bedroom when I had Rush paraphernalia hanging in every available spot.
Less is more!
I kind of agree but, there are some really nice mods being put out for Rush.
Quoted from J-drum11:I kind of agree but, there are some really nice mods being put out for Rush.
You can certainly over do it but I concur - most of the mods I have seen look pretty darn good. I'm really impressed with the product coming and the speed.
A lot of people here really love Rush (myself included) and I feel like that's what separates this pin from most others. Way more passion for the theme.
Quoted from J-drum11:I kind of agree but, there are some really nice mods being put out for Rush.
No doubt. I have a couple of flasher covers and red Barchetta coming. But some of those coin doors are obnoxious.
Quoted from upsfeedr:Any word on Ninjacamps Scoup Protector and how it holding up?
Still Waiting on my First New Inbox Rush Pin.
Yes im Going to Mod the Crap out of it..
Pinnwoofwer
Speakerlight kit
Dalmation/ Hydrant Flasher
Flasher Covers
Fluorescent Protectors
Dress up Magnet Art and Decal Art
Roll the Bones flaser Covers
Stern Rush Banner
All in Boxes on my desk waiting to be installed
Red Barachetta to get finalized
Waiting for Expression Lights to Be Released may be a topper
What Im i Missing?
Clear silicone rubber all around and the Rush concert ticket to cover up that ugly red QR label on backbox, insert color filters and owl eye filters, quiet back box power supply fan, strip of furniture felt so the ball makes that switch on that tight curve, ninjacamp scoop protector, and some kind of cover to cover up that QR reader on the apron.
Quoted from Black_Knight:No doubt. I have a couple of flasher covers and red Barchetta coming. But some of those coin doors are obnoxious.
It’s whatever anyone likes.
I make the hold your fire mod.
I also now have playfield guitars in my shop
And I made the skeleton.
I’m usually just making stuff for myself and my own machine first since I’m a 40 yr rush fan.
Stern did an incredible job I just think they missed the mark on the toys that could have been done. I’m happy people are making some really good ones.
My red Barchetta will be here this week
I like the flipper mods too
Quoted from Vino:Just a reminder there’s a free (but way less fun) solution for that ugly QR sticker.
It will cost you about fifteen seconds..

Looks great, Dude.
Quoted from J-drum11:Stern did an incredible job I just think they missed the mark on the toys that could have been done.
I agree 100% with this statement. The most glaring omission is the missing drum on the pro. Stern should have included the drum toy, even if it was a non functioning version, on all SKUs. All versions needed more little Do-dads. Plastic toys are cheap and the cost and qaulity cutting while the price goes up has reached a tipping point. I am unapologetically a bear in this market (I know thats a minority opinion) and really hope stern will focus on bringing more value and quality to the current pricing they have pushed to the limit.
I do love this pin, though. And like the rest of you I'm adding the little things Stern should have done themselves. The clever things I've seen you guys create for your machines is brilliant! All Good stuff!
And a shout out to Monk. Those colored gels are a MUST HAVE!
Quoted from Vino:Not a big mod guy but this is pretty sweet.

Actually - kind of works, kind of funny!
Quoted from kool1:Actually - kind of works, kind of funny!
A true rush fan would have 3 stooges mod
Quoted from indypinhead:Or southpark.....
Right honestly I was hoping they would’ve used that South Park video for the opening of Tom Sawyer that would’ve been incredible
I said this years ago when I was hoping for a Rush machine there are so many characters and so many things They could’ve done with this machine unfortunately they did not
I still love the machine though
And just to add for the match at the end they should’ve used the Rush in Rio dragon not the owl

Quoted from Animal:Looks like I have some work ahead of me this weekend. Has anyone installed the protector and kept the forks?
[quoted image]
We set ours aside, but there's no reason you couldn't keep the forks over the top of the protector. Just that much more secure. But if you want the ultimate in low profile, leave them out.
Last night I got a little drunk and mouthy...IMAGINE THAT
I love this thread and this group so I didn't mean to offend anyone, please know that.
Rush fans are some of the most passionate, rabid fans ever, so the enthusiasm is definitely understood. You guys keep doin you...I love it!
Cheers and have a great weekend!

You really got a chance to crank it up and play so Rush lives up to the hype right ?
Spinner blew off for the 3rd time .. seems to get hammered in some way that keeps bending the arm out.
Slingshot rubber broke already.. and found the inlane guides already worked themselves free. The joys of new games...

Sent you a pm
If anyone wants to upgrade their audio without breaking the bank, I have these on all of my machines and they work great. You can easily connect two pins to each sub and operate them simultaneously. Theoretically, you can connect 4 pins if you utilize the RCA inputs. All you need is about 6' of speaker wire, soldered to the +/- inputs of the built-in 8" speaker in the bottom of the cabinet and connect to the sub inputs and your are done...
https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B006HCQZDQ/
Sometimes they are on sale for $200, which is $100 per pin, and like I said, they sound great and on my RUSH LE, I can now clearly hear the drum sounds on the pops and it clarifies the call-outs, and if you crank it up, it will shake the room
My wife has been binging on Chicago Fire and last night she called me into the living room as she panned through an episode. I'm not sure what season it was but some of the characters go backstage to meet Alex and Geddy. It's pretty funny but unfortunately not posted anywhere that I can find.
