Thank you for the info ..I'll watch the video craziestsinge posted.

#1952 2 years ago
Quoted from Hayfarmer:

I've had good luck so far in warranty concerns, but nothing as big as a playfield. I see in an above post there are issues with the le scoop fix, as confirmed by others. I bought some cling vinyl to lay under and in front of the scoop to try and stop the problem.

I am blown away Stern is still having playfield issues. Is this a common issue? 2 weeks old?

I am definitely covering up the IC reader and never using it.

Thank you for the pic.
Now I know which apron covers to order.

Quoted from Mookie:

More Rush LE video rules explanation. Ray in chat.

Awesome....It is a really cool blanket......small though. Mostly ornamental, not used for actual warmth lol. You should love it and works perfectly for the pin.

#1958 2 years ago

Old trick. Use Hard as Nails clear nail polish on the scoop wood.

I also mylar the metal scoop.

Zeppelin was my gateway without that I would have never had the opportunity to get the LE… dig them both and they are so very different in the play style !!!!!

#1969 2 years ago

The balls seems to roll off my left flipper even after I checked the pitch and side to side level. Is this a characteristic of this game or do I need to adjust something that I'm not thinking of?

#1970 2 years ago
Quoted from Rarehero:

My friend gave me these settings for Godzilla LE, so I tried them on Rush LE. Try them & see what you think. For me, the treble was a tad high & the bass a tad low…so I adjusted those to taste after doing this.
Also with these settings, I brought bothmusic & voice attenuation to -10…which mellows out the sound FX a bit. Maybe too much. I might go -5. [quoted image][quoted image][quoted image][quoted image][quoted image][quoted image][quoted image][quoted image][quoted image][quoted image][quoted image]

Don’t you find 8 ohm provides a much more full sound? Thanks.

Is that your game? It looks more than 1 game has had this problem with no scoop protector.

I didn’t see it but zooming on the photo the scoop looks same as the LE.

Quoted from pinballjah:

It does without any other changes. If you just change to 4 without doing anything else, it sounds like shit. But if you change to 4ohm & then try my other settings, it’s actually much cleaner and fuller.

Congrats. Keep us posted with any scoop issues. It is important to know if this batch of Prems have a modified scoop.

#1979 2 years ago

Actually looks like the same scoop as the LEs. Hard to see though.

#1980 2 years ago

Congrats on being one of the first to get a Prem. I just wish Stern would wait to ship the Prems until a final fix is implemented.

Stern was very quick to answer my questions about the scoop protector and to remind me that my warranty could be voided if I remove, but went radio silent when I asked them what they were going to do about the damage to the playfield after less than 100 plays. I haven’t touched the game in two days and won’t until they offer a fix. Super fun game but so bummed out that they sent games out this way.

Ball hang up location found

Is your Rush Hemispheres ramp mounted crooked? Or is that the way it has to be mounded due to ball trajectory?

Once I get my premium, it won't be played until cliffy/mantis come up with a proper fix. I'm not going to wait on Stern. It's absolutely absurd that Stern would push this machine out the door with this issue.
I'm so glad that I have a CCr on order. At least CGC puts out a quality product.

Quoted from zoor0pa:

Neat idea, I don't mind taking out my phone but drives me absolutely bonkers that it makes me login every time. I was able to use "Widgetsmith" to add a photo of it to one of my home screens - similar concept.

I sort of did the same, in my case took a screen shot of the code, uploaded it to my google drive then made a google drive shortcut to it on my phone screen. So one click to see the image.

Had my first big game today. Big for me at least. 2.1 bil. Had 1b on ball one. 1.6 after the extra ball. Then didnt do so great after that. But definetly a longer playing game than most borgs Ive played.

Yes, I was told my Premium was going to be in the April run.

I will never understand why some of you guys put a blanket over your pinball machine. The playfield is beautiful to look at. To be honest, I look at my machines more than I play them. They are mechanical art.

What exactly are you trying to protect? Are you protecting your eyes from looking at something awesome? It’s like having a hot wife/girlfriend and then cutting your eyes out with a knife!

Stop spending your money on blankets. Spend it on beer and play some pinball!

I have bath towels over all my pins so I don't have to dust the glass. Cheap shits, $2.99 specials from Kohl's, but my pins are mostly in the basement so they get a lot of dust from 2 humans and 3 dogs on the floor above, and the only time I'm down here is when I'm playing so admiring them is irrelevant.

Pinball machines aren’t vampires.

Really hoping Stern adds the full intro into 2112 on a future update. I’ve heard that epic intro for the past 30+ years and it sounds odd without it! Blasphemy!

Received my LE yesterday. I must say the red flasher caps by Diddy Mods is a MUST! They look so nice - similar to Medisinyl's Elvira mods - this looks like it should have come this way.

I bought the same ones. They look awesome!!! The craftmanship is top notch.

I'm still waiting on my premium. Can't wait to see how they'll look in my machine.

Yes, for me the 4 ohm just sounds flat. I tried these settings and quickly went back to what I had.

Quoted from McIntyre905:

Anyone else getting an extremely loud screeching sound when entering high score initials? Like extremely loud

It’s the knocker. Stern uses a screech instead of an old fashioned knocker for high scores etc.

Go to adjustments and find knocker volume. Set to OFF.

Resume having fun!

Saw these flipper decals on a Houdini. Think they may look decent for those with LEs? Seem to go well with the theme.
