I'll be preordering one and the XSX when they're listed, but that's just out of habit. None of the launch titles announced outside of Halo Infinite do anything for me.

Best Buy had them back up and available for about the last half hour, and shows them available right now (3:03 Eastern.) Had to hammer my way through a couple dozen timeouts/errors, but mine went through about 5 minutes ago.

I'll probably end up ordering through Amazon as well when those go back up, and return/cancel whichever doesn't show up on time.

"Most" PS4 games, reportedly. No PS1-3.

Same. Ordered the full-strength PS5, then went back and ordered an extra controller. Then took a look through the launch games and... what a wasteland. Probably end up ordering Demon’s Souls just because I’ve never played it.

Yeah it’s crap as well. Tuesday will be the same routine - order Series X with an extra controller and no game. Maybe get the new Call of Duty when it comes out later that week for the X to have something “new” to toss in it.

Got an email from Best Buy earlier today to optionally schedule a pickup time between 6-9am on day of release for each of the XSX and PS5 preorders. A method to spread out the crowd rather than have everyone there at 9am, I guess.

I'll have an extra Xbox Series X available on Tuesday - anybody in central/northern NJ need one and have anything interesting to trade?

It’s like being 16 years old again - 2 new consoles, a new AC/DC album, and I can’t sit and drink at the bars.

Says something unkind about both my age and the lack of interesting launch titles that both of these are still unopened.

Do you dudes have yours set up out in the open, or inside of a cabinet? My XBOneX and PS4 Pro are in the cabinet under the TV in the pic (I keep it open when they’re on) but it sounds like with the air the new ones push out that I’m better served keeping these out in the open.

One week later and I’m at least closer to setting them up. (Man, the PS5 is one damn ugly console.) I may just set up some kind of low shelf for them where the PS5 is sitting now:

Still don’t play much on it yet (nothing PS5-specific of interest) but at least it’s black now! (dbrand “darkplates”)
