Gentlemen (and Ladies, if there are any involved),

I sincerely want to wish you all a MERRY Christmas and a very Happy New Year. I have been lurking in this topic for some time and every time I reach the point of "I can't believe this", the story takes yet another sudden lurch. The events of the last few days have been no exception. While emotions have run very high at times, I am very glad to see that cooler heads have prevailed and retribution has been pursued through the courts rather than the "court of the streets".

Here is to hoping that courts will give you an early Christmas present on Friday, one that you may actually be able to take to the bank.

I am officially outing myself as a lurker on this monumental thread. This has been both educational and frightening. I have been the owner in 2 companies that were eventually dissolved (both were consulting companies and all contracts were finished and nothing was left outstanding) and I would have to say that I would be pretty hard pressed to meet the burden of proof that Keith and the judge are leveling. Not that Kevin doesn't deserve it. It is just that in my naivety I let my accountant take care of all of those "tiny little details" as well as the paperwork involving the incorporation and dissolution of the partnerships. In the future, I will definitely take far more care with the "little details".

If those plastic skulls and spines are ever recovered, I would love to purchase one (assuming a reasonable price) to be mounted on the wall of The Game Preserve along side a one page history of the Demise of the Predator. I have currently done this with Zombie Yeti's "Alice in Wonderland" artwork with a one page synopsis of the JPOP debacle. If you ever stop by The Game Preserve, you will find the artwork mounted on the wall outside the main bathroom.

[Disclaimer: I lost nothing on either the SkitB or Zidware debacles, only because of my astoundingly bad (good?) luck in finding out about them too late to throw good money away.]

Did I read the numbers correctly? Kevin paid Paul $96,821 as 20% down for 250 cabinets. Unless my calculator is wrong that means the full payment would be ($96821/.2) = $484,105 for 250 cabinets. Or $1,936.42 per cabinet. I could be wrong, but that seems like a lot of money just for a cabinet. By the time you add wiring, power supplies, boards, parts and accoutrements, where was the profit going to be?

Just trying to wrap my head around this latest tidbit.

[Disclaimer: I have no skin in the game. I might have if I had seen the sales pitch before the wheels came off. But I didn't.]

Does anybody else find it ironic that they attempted to hide $30K+ in the purchase of an RV they then said cost $250, only to have said RV get waterlogged and now have a real value of approximately $250? If they had owned up to the original cost only to have the flood and subsequent loss in value, everybody would have said "There goes $29,750 we will never recover" and forgotten about it. Now there is an additional $29,750 everybody is looking for that no longer exists. And the Kulaks will have to explain where it went, except they can't without admitting they lied their asses off in court.

Usually, you can create a "web of lies" on a sheet of paper. I am afraid that this is going to be at least a 3D chart and possibly a 4D chart if you count imagination as a dimension.

To be honest, if you wrote this up as a script for CSI or Law and Order, the creators would laugh you out of their offices for smoking too much ________ (insert your favorite illegal substance here).

Quoted from frolic:

short version of the audio:
she no showed the court, Judge is confused why because these dates were picked by her. Trial date is next week (Oct 27) which she chose. Judge told Keith if she no shows then he's prepared to sign the default judgements.

Disclaimer: I am just a bystander. I have no money invested. Not that I might have if it hadn't imploded before I found out about it....

IMHO, they should just lock them all up. Then they know where to find them when they need them. At this point, I would be very surprised if any of them show up for any more hearings since they know what the answers are going to be and default judgements are slow if ever collected.

Reverting to her maiden name is just a scam so when the sheriffs come looking for judgement on the $30K, she will just say "Amanda Kulek, don't know her. I'm Amanda Scott."
