Kevin should just refund what he has ASAP.......It makes the most sense and will protect him the most, anyone who says otherwise is clueless.

Quoted from RobT:Again: so?
You keep saying this. What's the point? Nobody is saying Kevin is going to get an attorney to work for free. The issue is whether he is better off by refunding as much of the money as soon as he can or not...even if that means not having money to pay an attorney later.
The answer to that question in my opinion is: yes, he is. Even if that means he won't have money left to pay a lawyer for some lawsuit filed by Fox. Worse thing that can happen under those circumstances? Fox gets a large judgment, Kevin files Bankruptcy and starts his life over again. Keeping the money can lead to worse consequences.
For the record, Vid you are making no sense.........Rob is 1000% correct.
Quoted from Razorbak86:I have no idea who Mr. X is, but Kevin's partner or colleague at Skit-B Pinball was Aaron Klumpp. I'm not sure what the actual business arrangement was between the two?
I did run across a lengthy video of both Kevin and Aaron holding a seminar at the NWPAS 2013. The video is dated Jun 12, 2013...
» YouTube video
At that point, Aaron seemed fully engaged. When did he actually leave the project, and what was the stated reason?
So many potential lies in this video........These guys were on a one way track right off the cliff, there was no fall back plan. This dude Kevin is smart in all the wrong ways......
Quoted from dgoett:It is really sickening to see people enjoying watching 250 fellow pinsiders lose $5k.
Do you laugh at people when their houses burn down, too?
Do you laugh at funerals?
Some people have mental illness.
I understand what you are saying, but I think a lot of what you are seeing is backlash for what is happening to our Hobby. Preorders and upfront funding for games is a bad sign. Many pinsiders were warned by other pinsiders and many where told to shut up. Trusting people is one thing, but trusting people with thousands of dollars to build a machine with 10's of thousand moving parts is another.......especially when they have never done it before. Many would call that delusional. The funny thing is, there are many people here that I believe have the brains to pull this off, but they are so successful in their profession that they would never consider it........It's funny that they are so trusting of individuals with half their business sense.
Quoted from nephasth:Heighway shouldn't touch this...
Heighway will get the license without Kevin and do a complete redesign. Let the witch hunt begin. I wouldn't want to be this Kevin guy for a million bucks.
Quoted from PinRebel:You are seriously misguided here. There is nothing illegal about him owning a prototype game that never went into being manufactured. Nothing. Your anger should only be directed at that Kevin guy.
Not sure I agree with this. It would be one thing if the money he paid was given to the victims, but it wasn't. He basically funded a crook, fully well knowing Kevin was a crook. Am I missing something?
