For the majority, I think the pre order model is doa. Even if deposits could be held in trust, you still have gameplay and code as question marks. This past 12 months has been particularly rough for buyers. Show me and if I like, I'll then buy.

Re Paypal...the other day I got this email from paypal:
"Activate this new feature on your PayPal account.
With our new Pay After Delivery feature, you’ll get 14 days for your item to be delivered before money is deducted from your bank account."
Nice feature for any and all transactions.
I listened to the podcast (thks for posting RobT)....worth a listen. If you look at this objectively, not as a customer, too many stormclouds to feel safe in this investment. Like Nate said, the 2 weeks seems to just be an arbitrary time frame...possibly in hopes that whatever serious issues are in the way, can be cleared in that timeframe....but could take longer...or shorter. For all of the community, hope this works out well, esp for those that have ordered.
This whole situation SUCKS, but there is no reason to vent anger towards Ted. From what I see, he was the only one to call Kevin and let everyone know what he could and could not say. For that he has to be given crap? At least he tried to provide some info to all involved. Point your anger towards to where it is deserved, not where it shouldn't.
I wouldn't take this game if it was given to me for free and delivered to my house. Unless your looking to add drama to your life and insulting this community with its possession, it's toxic at this point. There may however be merit to some who would take it and use it to help those that lost money. Other than, I for one would pass.
Seems this judge is very understanding and forgivable giving KK the benefit of doubt. But he also gives the appearance that at some point he has heard enough of the bs and will be as unforgivable in imposing a harsh sentence. No records, no receipts, no past knowledge of hard fact transactions is not going to go over with this judge in the end.
Quoted from chadderack:As I understand this is just a bankruptcy court; there's no real possibility of "hard time" based on these proceedings alone. What's funny is that Kevin started the bankruptcy process himself.
Yeah but at some point he has to rule in the favor of the trustees that he hasn't proven he has no assets, which I would imagine would result in a noncompliance and a sentence would have to be offered.
Edit: What do I know. Just an observer of these justice proceedings.
