Quoted from PinChili:

Oh man, you do not even want to know. Look at her public facebook page. She attends events with other "witches" in full dress and what not. God forbid you should ever say something religious around her because basically she (or Kevin for that matter) will try to talk well over your head with the history of religion and it all being BS. She is pagan (obviously) and to her it's the only "religion" that makes sense.

So it's like a every other religion then?

Quoted from ccotenj:

perhaps they don't care for illegal activity...

the "it's ok to break the law if you get away with it" attitude of many is downright scary...

Depends what particular law your talking about.

Murder and J-Walking are pretty much total opposite sides of the scale, yet both have laws prohibiting them. Would you call the cops if you saw someone J-Walking? If a law is bad, we have the obligation to make it known and not just blindly follow it.

reductio ad absurdum...

If a Nigerian prince really has a check for you to cash but then looses the check after you send him a $500 transfer fee, was he really scamming you or just a victim of bad luck?

Quoted from nintendo:

I bought "LogMeIn" from a salesman on the phone that said the program would work via my Samsung Galaxy S4 through windows XP. I gave have him the exact specs.
Guy charged me $100 and I went to proceed with the installation. Low and behold the software is not compatible and doesn't work with my android operating system. I called the guy back and told him it didn't work when he said it would. He said he can't refund me.
I called Visa and got my money back. At any point in time did I consider this a scam? Nope. Was it unprofessional of the salesman to not refund me? Yup. I don't think it was the salesman intent to "scam me" out of $100 for a non-working product lol.

I think you guys are just going to have to agree to disagree. Neither of you are swaying the other away from your chosen positions. Although it did make boobs appear so it's not all bad...

Quoted from Sjsilver:

Semantics. Again, which term would you prefer to use instead of "Scam" to describe someone trying to fund their start up and fledgling dream pinball designer career using Stolen IP and lying to their customers about it, even after they got caught. Obviously you view the word "Scam" to only mean someone stealing your money and running off to an island, so tell me what we should call it so we can finally quit the whole "It is a scam because he lied/It isn't a scam because he had good intentions" argument.

I vote for calling it, an "oopsies"

What's the point of the other website other than showboating and attention whoring? The only people going to it are from Pinside. Also, like the other guy said. If this guy is really in trouble, he'd be an idiot to respond to any of the baiting or "open letters".

Quoted from PinChili:

I think clearly the Wordpress posting was done by a single individual of the "anonymous group". I doubt the whole group collaborated on that.

This individual sure says "We" an awful lot though.

Edit : I counted, about 90 times.

Quoted from 27dnast:

This Kevin guy should wise-up and start dispersing funds. Now. It looks like buyers are getting their CC companies involved. They're not going to mess around and play footsie over thousands in cash that they've refunded to clients.
What a mess.

Seems like that opportunity has passed, but I am just speculating.

You're reading this entire thread? Holy hell!

Yeah I just wait for 500 new posts, then read the last page to see if anyone got anywhere.
