Quoted from jasonp:Pinball Accoutrements
How long before "Pinball Accoutrements" surpasses "$10k by Christmas" as one of the most quoted Pinside phrases ever?!
Quoted from DanQverymuch:Being a dumbass is not a very good legal defense after all.
Eh, you usually get one free pass from a Judge when you play dumb. Kevin got that.
Note how the Judge didn't bring up the $17k fine or whatever the term is (accoutrements?) for the $500.00/day Kevin supposedly owes for his non-appearance at Keith's office.
Added over 4 years ago:I am retracting the above post.
Homeschool vocabulary words of the week:
Fraud
Insolvent
Baseless Slander
Accoutrements
Passport/enhanced drivers license
Fugitive
Attorney
Judge
Comply
U.S. Marshall
Prison
God
Mercy
Soul
Quoted from TigerLaw:I still have a letter from his last lawyer saying my refund was in process...whatever.
Would you accept a refund in the form of .. pinball accoutrements? :shifty:
A couple items that will be very interesting : w the SKITB tax returns if they even exist.
Then his personal Tax returns.
Maybe the IRS will bend him over after Keith is done with him. Or maybe Keith should bring in a tax specialist as well for next questioning.
All the so called employee friends and family?
Then the one or two machines made where given to a friend to sell as a second hand transaction to a collector? Hmmm?? I am sure he raised extra money selling off other assets. Are those the so called worthless accoutrements.
I have seen judges much harder on 80year old women for speeding in court. With large fines handed out. This judge seemed way to easy on Kevin. The judge never asked do you have a lawyer? Do you need a lawyer?
Never asked what the court issue in Ohio was about?
I am guessing Kevin will show up with same crap papers that he has already given as that is all he can bring without totally screwing himself. If he shows at all.
And Keith will get what from this lair??
Can someone recap how many folks Keith is representing?? Cause I hear many guys that only lost a small amount so never persued any refund.
It is exciting to hear that Kevin may be getting his comeuppance.
But I can just hear him now,
well your honor I did not realize that Mexico was that much further than Ohio nor did I realize that my wife had gotten me a passport for Valentine's day and left it hidden in the glove box. It's not my fault honest. I didn't even know my dying grandmother lived in Mexico I just put the address into the Google maps and was following their directions.
Oh and I felt very threatened by all those documents that would prove I am a liar and a their. So nope cant seem to find any of them.
Quoted from Stones:"The marshal and his team that came to my home today....treated me with the upmost respect and dignity"
haha....pu$$y.....
Right after Kevin's comment the judge says "Well thank you...you got that going for you...."
Good lord...my fav part too. Other than "You have nothing to worry about your honor..." BWA!!!
EDIT: And thus started the whole "accoutrements vs adornments" wars of 2017
Quoted from HighProtein:Toys from Predator filed as worth... nothing?
What a fucking house ball of a comment Kevin!
"I believe he called them accoutrements"
smug fuck
Quoted from KeithinMI:I'm the lawyer on the phone.
I don't have a stake in this, but am happy that someone is fighting on behalf of those that do.
I noticed that you at one time had a PotC. If you still do, I'd be happy to send you an airball deflector that I created which allows for removal of the giant blocky sneezeguard around the ship and other "accoutrements" - free of charge - just to say thanks for all the other Pinsiders going through this. If interested, send me a PM.
I'm pretty sure that on Friday he is going promulgate what happened to all of those pinball accoutrements...
Quoted from Mitch:Looks like his wife is selling things including a camera lens that I'm assuming our money paid for.
He said his wife has a photo studio. I'm going to assume that the lens and other photography accoutrements were purchased from her business account and that funds recovered from the sale go back to that account to be declared on her business taxes.
No reason to assume she's engaged in fraud... Even though she was presumably engaged to (and ultimately married) one.
Zing.
Quoted from robertmee:Cmon guys....first rule of legal defense is keep your damn mouth shut. I wouldn't expect a peep from Virtuapin, especially on an open forum. They're smart for remaining silent while under legal proceedings. Now being involved with Kevin....not so smart.
Agreed, I don't see him giving up 155k. Figure the CNC machine, printer and various accoutrements might fetch $20k on the used/auction circuit, I dpn't see this particular defendant forking over $135k of personal funds. This will not end well.
I think Keith is recovering a heck of a lot more for the estate than his payment from the estate would ever come near. If people were going after Kevin without him would they get an RV, CNC, accoutrements, ... No they would get Kevin shrugging his shoulders in court saying he has nothing and a judge saying he can't squeeze blood from a stone. And [without Keith] the judge would probably not see the snake for what he is, give him the bankruptcy and release his debt.
Also the entertainment value of those court tape is priceless.
Quoted from Half_Life:Nice machine, but I think it needs a few more adornments.
Don't you mean accoutrements :-/=
Quoted from vid1900:Not only a Fender bass player, but note the accoutrements.
Acoustic instruments = accoutrements.
I heard they had the place split right down the middle.
Fridge/TV/Accoutrements on one side, Microwave/washing machine/adornments on the other.
Did I read the numbers correctly? Kevin paid Paul $96,821 as 20% down for 250 cabinets. Unless my calculator is wrong that means the full payment would be ($96821/.2) = $484,105 for 250 cabinets. Or $1,936.42 per cabinet. I could be wrong, but that seems like a lot of money just for a cabinet. By the time you add wiring, power supplies, boards, parts and accoutrements, where was the profit going to be?
Just trying to wrap my head around this latest tidbit.
ken
I think the community would gladly stop over and help you. Especially moving all unaccounted for accoutrements.
Of course I could be wrong as these nerds are just brainiacs and would just be there to figure how many bladders and anchor chains would be needed so this doesn't happen again.
I can see his point the threads that go off topic to much can be a real pain as you never know when some real info comes in. But that was before I noticed and started using those key topic links. Try it. You'll like it.
I'll be taking preorder money please make checks out to " creative accoutrements shipped happily" or CASH for short.
curators have accoutrements
And will never give em up, well not for a long while and only for a big heap of cash. It's a curators 401k.
Quoted from TheLaw:https://pinside.com/pinball/community/pinsiders/keithinmi/market
Those games are loaded with Accoutrements 8)
