I can't believe it April fool's day came and went and nothing. You guys are slacking.

Nothing new ??

#17952 6 years ago
Quoted from CNKay:

Nothing new ??

Kevin's case hasn't had activity since jan 8th, and most of his final cases were basically no shows.
Amanda hasn't had activity since Feb 8th.

#17953 6 years ago

Yeah these cases have hit rock bottom for sure. Might as well close the books on this one.

So did we ever find aboot the counter suit to Keith? I heard he lost it but I don't remember seeing proof in here?

Did Keith run out of funds, and the process stops?

#17956 5 years ago

Curious about Kieth's situation as well........ so Kevin has escaped ?

how can that be?... Keith had him on the ropes and the judge was tired of the games........

Keith stopped posting in thread long long ago. Last time I looked it up I think it was like 18 months...and that was a bit ago.

It's not over, still going.

Amanda was recently in court, audio here: https://soundcloud.com/user-800669943/1ap2016-02073-20180426-153136

Her full court date is June 1st.

There is a bunch of new stuff in the Maletich case, I'll download and post that stuff later as time permits.

#17960 5 years ago

Keith doesn't post about it anymore, which is smart. Either way, Keith is the f$&king man. Hopefully VP is cnc'ing out the cabinets for people...

I keep holding reservations on the judge, but holy hell the way he allows people to talk to him *cough*A man, duh*cough*

If she needs a loan, why doesn't she ask Kevin for the scratch?

This guy will get nailed for swiping a whole $2000 by charging plane tickets to Hawaii using a company card. KK hasn't even been arrested. (Escorted to trial once, was it?)

Sure hope it's not over.

Any chance for Keith to get some sort of TWIPY Pinball award in 2018?

Should have been nominated for Best Podcast.

Keith doesn’t post anymore because I (not an attorney) called and told him that his posts in a public forum like this, while they may feel good, do not help his case at all and may do more harm than good.

How could their be a child custody dispute when Kevin doesn't have a job and she is supposedly self employed?

Keith (an attorney) clearly looks to Pinside and casual friends for free legal advice.

Wolfmarsh must be the busiest man in SC.

#17970 5 years ago

She owns the house free and clear. Maybe she can't get a loan but a new buyer could. Plus Habitat for Humanity fixed it up for them! (Amazing how much charity one can get even after stealing half a mil)

She knows damn well that moving out and having to pay rent would cost far more than whatever she pays in property tax.

This is exactly what's up.

If only it weren't true. SFGE in a couple weeks will be my first time to stop and take a deep breath in the past 6 months.

I did have a chance to quickly download the latest audio in the Maletich case, but I haven't listened to it yet. This is from April 26th, 2018.

Oh wow.

Zero shame with these criminals. The biggest crime is these people had children. Sad for them

I was really trying hard to stay out of all of this stuff but having worked through lawsuits, mitigation and having a kick ass lawyer myself who keeps my endeavors in order, I couldn’t stand by and not say something.

Keith was fine to chat with. I let him know that I was available to corroborate any details based on my interactions with the parties involved on location at their workspaces, at shows, via phone calls, emails and text messages, should he need it.

That was the only time we spoke.

Where is Kevin in all of this? He seems to be showing up at the custody hearings, but is the trustee no longer chasing him? And Mama K's ordeal is over as well? Last thing I remember is they confirmed that the trailer had minimal value and that seemed to be the end.

I'm just holding out for the day K gets a job so I can garnish his wages.

No updates from Keith either via email or regular mail in I don't know how many months, close to a year I'm guessing.
Seems over with to me.

until things are settled with the bankruptcy, your case (like the other 17? that signed on) is on hold. Once everything completes with that, then collection can start back up and more pain for those that have to pay/waste time in court/etc...

It is only over if you want out and decide to walk away from it all.

I personally will make sure this follows Kevin for the rest of his life. I personally hope he gets his act together and finds a real job someday. Even 1 dollar per paycheck would be a nice reminder. if he doesn't then it will continue to haunt him.

I listened.

She's arguing that just because she was married to him, she's now inherited his mess.

The reality is, people that indirectly benefit from misallocated funds and whose names are on accounts from which those funds were drawn are liable.

It's like the people in our neighborhood that complain about property restrictions when they realize that, no... you can't put in an above ground pool. Their argument is that it's unreasonable to have read every document before signing at closing.

If your signature is on it, you own it.

You have to have a judgement against him first.

The ironic part is as redneck hillbilly "wards of the state" Kevin & Family garnish YOUR wages

#17985 5 years ago

With the new Predator movie coming out, I'm guessing Kevin's saying his tired old schtick of "Yeah I'm not saying makin' a Predator pinball is out of the question someday!" as he's mopping up the floor at his job at Burger King.

Yep, sure, someday... Uh huh.

Whysnow, are you going through Kevin's garbage? Looking for that smoking gun?

#17986 5 years ago
Quoted from vdojaq:

Got that judgment. I think I'm the only one that has it. But as you can see it ain't doing me a shit of good so far.

People are just expecting things to progress too quickly. There is nothing on the calendar for the VirtuaPin proceeding until November, 2018.

When I was in law school, our Professional Responsibility Prof. asked us "what we thought the greatest source of complaints to the state bar association was?"

The initial answers all had to do with embezzling/co-mingling funds, self-dealing and other breaches of fiduciary duty, gossiping about clients and cases, sex with clients... and lots of other very obvious "bright line" no-nos.

Turns out clients' number 1 complaint across all jurisdictions is "lawyer not communicating with me regularly." But what people who are not familiar with the law don't "get" is that many legal proceedings take 3-5 years to complete.

Even when an attorney says "Ok, our next court date is [far in the future], absolutely nothing will change between now and then, and I will be in touch closer to that date" clients are still upset they are not getting weekly updates.

There's nothing to update until the next court date. I waited 10 months for my GB Premium (ordered March 2016; delivered Oct 2016). I know lots of other people have waited a long time on games. Think of this the same way.

If you want to exchange pleasantries with your attorney via email or phone, they will be happy to bill you for them in 6, 10, or 15 minute increments.

Otherwise wait for the next significant date to occur and until then "no news is good news."

One could only hope . . .

Detroit Free Press 14 hours ago: Bite from exotic snake sparks multi-state scramble for antivenom

A 26-year-old Pinconning Township man is still recovering from a cobra bite that sent doctors scrambling to hunt down antivenom. The man became nauseous and started vomiting about 20 minutes after his pet albino monocled cobra bit him the night of July 14.

Despite the harm that has been done, I wouldn't wish that fate on anyone.

Keeping poisonous/venomous pets probably isn't a good idea in the first place, though.

I still can't get over the irony that this douche hails from a place called "Pinconning".

What ever happened to Mama K, and the (maybe) ex? Has anyone put a bell on Kevin yet? Hide and seek champ of the region.

Guys, be on the lookout for a letter. I got one from the bankruptcy courts today with an update. I am not home to be able to post it, but assumed the new postings would be about it. If nobody posts before I can get back home, I will post.

#17995 5 years ago

I keep hoping for more courtroom audio but there has not been anything for some time. Here’s hoping the creditors are making progress against the debtors.

Cheers.

Yes but... if that is him AND he can afford a cobra, he has a little spare change to start clearing his debts. (Like that will happen)

Only 500 bucks. https://undergroundreptiles.com/shop/baby-king-cobra/

ONLY $500. That's $100 more than I paid for my firepower. $100 more than my gin and $165 less than my black knight with brand new rottendog mpu. Guess I'm cheap.
